In a meeting and just thinking how very much I dislike being the education assistant to people who have done the work 1/10th of the time I have.

I dont want to be a team player.... i always end up on the losing end

My daughter went through this, Then someone figured out it was her doing the work. Now she's a global manager. Hang in there a little longer.

I am glad she had this outcome. I'm my company has a woke culture where noone has to match high performers they participation trophy everyone and as " long as they are doing their best and are happy" then that is enough...

One of my coworkers said that the goal is to be "cream of the crap"..... so just do better than awful...... head shake

I found out that when you ARE the best, some others dislike you. Seems to be a no win situation

I was late to the pick-up truck game so I never had a rifle rack in any of mine.


I was always amused by the ones with fishing poles in them.

A pissed off captain once said to me... "What are you trying to do, make me look bad!?"

I do have a phone interview this coming Wednesday for a really good job doing what I really know how to do. We'll see. At least my headhunter told me what to emphasize to them. Funny, it's stuff that I would have emphasized to them anyway.


I think that I'll go shopping this afternoon for a new shirt and a new sweater.

Morning guys.

All is ok here. My mom has had a good run and a full life. And she ain’t gone yet. She’s tough as the day is long.

95 years young.

She contracted pneumonia a few days ago and she hasn’t been eating much since her broken hip back in August. Just sort of withering.

It is sad.

Ha, It's 12:34:56 PM!

Whatever bug this is seems to be fading already. Maybe one or the other vaccinations earlier this fall helped... Who knows anymore!

Might be a good day to start hauling so stuff into the basement. Been staring at a pile of things in the garage that need to go down there. It's 10F, sunny and windy AF out there right now. So indoor chores it is!
