The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I was scrolling through my phone. I had a diverse group of people but I needed one who knew that I go above and beyond. I always liked her and we hadn't talked in awhile. She didn't call back until four o'clock, and we had a nice chat and caught up. Anyway, there were a lotta lotta st000pid things that happened there, and we'd help one another stay sane. Most construction/renovation managers don't get along with property management, but I do. That was the WHO of the reference. I think also what matters was the HOW she gave it. I don't know - we'll see.

Up a bit early to get awake and ready to hit the road to Points Southwest (I just realized that). If this works out on all fronts, this will be my last full-time job before rearrangement and relocation. Still on Cup #1.
I agree 10000000%.

It’s a combination of WHO and HOW it’s said. But the persons gotta be credible and know their shit.

Sounds like all of the above applied.

Glad that this job should facilitate your move out west.

Morning everyone…TGIF! Ended up bringing a nasty cough back home off the road. SWhoMBO, promptly caught it🙄 and now the blame game begins. It’s a weird thing…post nasal drip so cough all night and no sleep. No amount of Zarbie’s or Riccolla’s seem to make a dent in it. Doc looked at my ears and said they looked clear? OK…

Home remedies galore, and, yeah…that’s my weekend. At least it’s cold and dreary outside so a good weekend to watch some foootball.

Hope everyone is feeling better than the HDH household…your MZ:

Sorry bro. Hope the HDH household is back on the mend quickly.

Get some rest and enjoy the football!

The little one is awake and saw the snow. I don't think I've ever seen her get ready to go out so fast. I wish I could show the pic I took of what she calls "snow clothes" but I can't seem to upload from camera file here. Anyway, we went outside and made a couple of snow balls ( yes, she got me.) and I showed her how you start rolling the snow on the ground to start a snowman. Of course my bare hands needed a break. She's in there now trying to roll her sister out of bed so they can go play.
Wonderful morning here!

HA! I see what you did there...Lecher! 😉
On my second day at university I was told to be at the 'Lecher Theatre' at 11 the following morning. Wow, I thought, "they've sussed me out very quickly."
Imagine my disappointment when I arrived to see a crusty old professor giving a lecture on 16thC French literature!!
Curse that failing hearing.

My hearing has let me down on many occasions. A few years ago my wife called out to me that our cute neighbour, Caroline, was struggling to clear the snow from her driveway. As my wife carried on talking I threw my outdoor clothes on and rushed outside to help (just being a good neighbour, obviously)
As I got outside it became very clear to me that what my wife had actually said was "she's got snow clothes on..."
Curse that failing hearing.

As a kid who grew up in the Mid Atlantic region, and had the once every 7 yr snow…that now is the once every 12-15 yrs snow…I believe I can remember every snow day when I was their age!

Magical times without a doubt!
