The headhunter emailed me back. My last reference to her, my property management buddy, gushed, apparently. "She LOVES you," the email said. Well, it was a tough assignment we were on, and there was lots of bitching. We kinda needed an ally, a Sanity Buddy. I thought it was nice to have a woman reference in this man-dominated industry of mine.

She wants to help her daddy.... or she is scoping out when and where to strike next.

Thats nice. In certain environments it is not the reference but WHO gives it. If I, for instance, got a referral from a nurse...it has more weight.....

I was scrolling through my phone. I had a diverse group of people but I needed one who knew that I go above and beyond. I always liked her and we hadn't talked in awhile. She didn't call back until four o'clock, and we had a nice chat and caught up. Anyway, there were a lotta lotta st000pid things that happened there, and we'd help one another stay sane. Most construction/renovation managers don't get along with property management, but I do. That was the WHO of the reference. I think also what matters was the HOW she gave it. I don't know - we'll see.


Up a bit early to get awake and ready to hit the road to Points Southwest (I just realized that). If this works out on all fronts, this will be my last full-time job before rearrangement and relocation. Still on Cup #1.

**** ATTENTION**** A couple of us got messages from @Lilianna23 last night. She's been non compliant on meds due to reactions but has promised to start taking them and expects to return to us in a couple days. I'm sure everyone joins me in wishing her the best and are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers.🤗😘💋❤️
 
Good morning. Thanks for the update OM. We wish Lilli a speedy recovery on the meds. Sinusitis is a nasty secondary infection.

I got seven hours of sleep last night, 🎉

No taxi this morning but going mall walking, see my GF for brunch, and then help my daughter turn in a leased car.

My sympathy for Penn State fans.

It seems to be all lining up. Sometimes patience will lead you to the place you need/want to be. I am glad that you fostered this working friendship. I find when in hell, it is always better to find at least one friend to help.. It is nice that she gave you such a glowing recommendation. She sounds like good people.
Get that coffee in and drive safely. We need our Wat in one piece. I can't wait to hear how it went.

My fave color. I can see me om lilianna and L2 with our head scarves speeding down the road singing at the tops of our lungs on the grand tour to see our " book club friends" wonder if she floats..... we have to go see grey.....

But we need a bigger car for more people..... hmm
