It’s the memories that makes the heart warm in midst of cold and snow. Oatmeal is so delicious.Monring eveyone! B2 3 inches is just about right. Enough to go sled and and make a snowman if it wet. Not too much to shovel. When I was a teenager one reason I liked the snow was I was going ot have some extra change in my pocked. I also remember my mom making breakfast. Oatmeal and toast. I know it is plain but I still love it with lots of butter on the toast.
Ah, Malt O'Meal with honey and just the right amount of lumps the way Mom used to make. It’s the memories that makes the heart warm in midst of cold and snow. Oatmeal is so delicious.
I'm going with 'congratulations' for this one. One of my life goals is to be one of those old dudes that hang out as Hardee's on Saturday mornings. I'm seeing this as an important step towards achieving this goal.Congratulations... or Consolations???
Here's the standard roll out for all café newcomers:
Welcome to the café.
We conduct ourselves a bit differently here than most of the rest of Lit.
Post #1 introduces the joint... and glancing back over the last 10-20 pages provides additional context.
To be clear:
1. No religion 2. No politics 3. No drama 4. This isn't a hook up thread. Take it to the DMs or go somewhere else.
Everyone is welcome but we are protective of the vibe
This applies to all who visit this thread.
If this feels like a good match, welcome...
If not then please keep looking on Lit -
There's so many threads to choose from. You're sure to find a few to your liking.

I prob will have soup of some sort.... hard to cook for 1Good morning! It's gonna be a slippery day here. It warmed up yesterday after the 5" of good stuff fell and it's sure to make it a solid sheet of ice today. I'm not even going to attempt to walk out on the porch till noon today after it warms up.
Quick coffee and down to the basement for tortu..er, uh for a workout. I should stretch more but I need to clean out that basement and make more room and less dust. It's sort of a walkout basement (garage door access at one end) and should be easy enough to declutter.
Stay warm today and think about what your going to make for dinner tonight. Prolly, crockpot bbq chicken here tonight.
