Sooooo…you had a visitation! My wife is big into dream interpretation. These visits by departed loved one she holds in high regard. I’ve never been one to put much faith in that line of thinking, but I’ve had more family than I care to mention depart the pattern over the last twenty years. Most of whom have made a “visit” to my dreams.Man did I have weird dreams last night.
First one was long and rambling and my mom was in it.
Second one was i was at some scenic place where we could barely see the Pacific Ocean. But then i was in Somerville NJ at the old bowling alley which had been converted to a big box store. I was reminiscing w the clerk while checking out about what the old bowling alley was like and some snot nosed kid pulled an OK Boomer thing on me (I’m gen x), then we got to fighting and he had a friend who was about to kick my ass. But then I was running along a railroad track with Iggy Pop, who was on my side.
C’mon dream analysts… what does it mean??
Wiltshire, not a million miles from SalisburyHi Madeline. Where are you joining us from (geographically)?
Yeah... I remind myself all the time.... but I wish someone was as careful with me as I am with them.... and then I feel bad because I feel ungrateful for all the blessings I do have.....Our problem is that our perfection comes at a price. We carry the burden of intolerance!
sounds almost like a therapeutic project......impressive..... can you call you MSSK Fixit? Here is the dresser...prob gonna paint the shelf fronts white too
No, but I thought of you when I saw that meme and it would have been wrong of me not to share.
So there.
I love/hate vinyl siding. I love that it's relatively easy to fix, normally zero maintenance. But it cracks to easily in the cold.A piece of siding popped off the 2ns story... how in the hell am I gonna fix that.... always something
Id take your form of cold right now! It's cold here, too. Not eastern US, polar vortex cold but cold for us. It got into the 20s last night. Everything was frosted over. This was the sunrise from my front window.

The UPS guy backed into my garage and smashed the corner trim and siding this winter. At least I think it was him, the scuff mark has brown paint in it. Of course there's no proving it, and of course it's the corner with the power meter...
The kicker is the spot where he backed into the the building, the driveway is 60+ feet wide!![]()
I'll warn you, it is NOT Downton Abbey. Lots of blood and gore. I like the story. Vaguely follows written sagas from the period. This 5th season is getting addicting. This show is in my Netflix list but I haven't watched it yet. I've been watching Downton Abbey.
Well I am learning....sounds almost like a therapeutic project......impressive..... can you call you MSSK Fixit?
Have a wonderful dal
Sorry your dog is having an episode. That must be difficult, but I’m glad that he does have meds to help him. And you.Good late morning. I was up at midnight giving my dog his pain meds. He was having an episode. But then we both got some sleep. I have busy stoned getting up at 630 with household things. My dog seems better and going to put him on a 12 hour pain meds cycle with sleeping medicine an hour before I go to sleep.
Well the Lions defense met its match last night. And so did its offense. They had a good season considering its injuries. Maybe next year.
And I was not up early enough to catch Lilli. Welcome back Lilli!![]()
Kitties: cats are really easy to take care of, but even easier when there’s someone else’s! But maybe that youngster will get a pet animal of some kind herself!! Hope so!First of all…WELCOME BACK LILI!
So glad you’re feeling better! Keep getting better and doing those little nurse things you’ve passed on to the rest of us!
I’m feeling better so called back in to work after taking a couple three sick days (and maybe stretched it a day to make the celebration of life for my friend) and after getting packed took the whole tribe out for supper.
KITTY UPDATE…
After hanging out and playing all day, granddaughter had to get her nap out, so kitty was let off the porch and he (upon closer inspection kitty was found to be a boy) found his way home…we’re kind of bummed, but the good news is, he might be a Visiting Cat!. We’ve had those in the past and we sort of half adopted them…one so much the owner knew she was always taken care of and would just tell us she’d be away for a few days. We were already stocked up on food and treats…so maybe the same dynamic? As I asked about the kitty, I got a line of baby gibberish, so she’s very excited about her little visitor! I see animals in this girls future!
New day, and new beginnings, and new found reflections on our existence. Seeing people I haven’t seen in 40yrs will do that I guess. SWhoMBO made the comment of the relative age of the folks attending….I thought…yep, we’ll be doing this more in the coming years I’m afraid. Let’s all remember to enjoy our laps around the blazing ball! Speaking off…how about a rising blazing ball MZ…

I’m the same. I’m pretty much a cynic, but I will say that I’ve had two dreams in the last week and a half since my mom passed away that she was in.Sooooo…you had a visitation! There have been a couple that have been…interesting. I may relay one of those on a dark cold night one of these days…
Yeah… sounds like a great day to be home. Us too. We’re getting snow in the northeast.Good morning all. It’s -1 here and the wind hasn’t started yet. More snow in the forecast and colder still for the next couple of days. We may actually get above zero on Tuesday, it I doubt it. It’s going to be a drink coffee and stay at home kind of day. Y’all stay safe and keep warm.
My wife and I visited there many years ago on our first time to England. We had a hilarious time with some English army veterans at the Stonehenge Inn.Wiltshire, not a million miles from Salisbury
That sounds like a great project!I am gonna be painting today... I filled some holes ( some I made some I didnt.... need to paint over the white.....
I am gonna paint the black barn door in my tiny guest room.... It was ugly..the idea is great but they just slapped some black paint on rough wood. Didn't fill screw holes or anything. Didn't get paint in crevices. SO... I did. I am going to paint it a tan color.... but first a base coat or 2 so the black doesn't bleed through.
AND....I am painting my bathroom cabinet rosepine...right now is a greeny turquoise... a little too minty...here is the new color for the cabinet.
I bought a small dresser qnd I want to put it in a giant empty space in the bathroom. I need to shave down the legs. It is literally 1/4 inch too tall.....
