I know, because I have always struggled with my weight. I stopped eating processed sugar six or seven years ago. Drop some weight, but more importantly, I had less body pain, felt sharper, and just in general felt healthier.

Weight and Diet can be so challenging!
Sugar - can be used for good or evil
I tolerate fruits better than some vegetables. Natural sugar but too much can still cause issues.
Refined sugar will wreak all sorts of havoc with my system. Tasty but terrible.

Threaten me with a good time!

I've been having fun in RL. Too much fun. Forgive me??!! I really enjoy my new friend. He makes me laugh and smile a lot. Not something I've been doing the past 3 years apparently.

Had a nice evening with the granddaughter last night. She was in high spirits and her uncle and I chased her giggling through the house. Did some bed jumping and pillow fighting. I think I’m an 8yr old trapped in a 58 yr olds body?

I get compounded meds online overall about 135$ a month for doc nutritionist and meds.... luckily is affordable for me

I've done 2 compounded meds.
The first was unaffordable and discontinued. Still no good option as a replacement.
The other costs about the same a month - but just for the medication alone.
While compounding can be a useful option, insurance doesn't apply so cost can be a barrier to care.
Really glad you have an affordable option that works for you.

I think it looks ok... I will get some wood putty and try to hide the stacked shim....

Got the grocery shopping done before the rain hit this morning. Everyone is napping and it's quiet in the house. The sky is overcast and I'm laying in the recliner reading another story...in peace. Coffee sounds good right now.

When I made pecan rolls for hristmas I wish I would have taken a pic of them before I baked them.... I was so proud of the tight swirl I got....

It's all in the swirl. No matter the recipe, it seems a tight swirl is a challenge but bakes all the difference.

It was a nice family get together, and we had a Zoom call with my relatives from Kansas, Arizona and California.

It was fun, silly at times, and overall a nice time. Unfortunately, my daughter could not make it due to a prior coaching commitment. (the original date was last week, but snowed out…. She was upset…)

So glad it was a good time and you were able to include participants from both near and far.

Wow. It's 7:30, and I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Had to fix a mailbox post earlier. Snowplows are hard on mailboxes. Had to break out the welder for that repair.

Office is back together, ready for tomorrow morning. Most sarcastic yay ever...

Neighbor stopped over with a part of his snowblower. Needed to help him get a bolt loose. Fortunately a little 'blue wrench' was all that was needed.

Then a birthday party.

Everyone finally woke up after their afternoon siesta around 1730. Nice long peaceful afternoon. I got a lot of reading done and another surprise tear jerker finished. I'm starting to see pattern.

Aunt Marilyn wanted dough burgers tonight. I'm not much on them myself but they were good. Didn't put a lot into tonight's meal as I got started late and everyone was starving.

Made a plate and took it to Mrs. Mitt as she was ill. Thinks she may have picked up the flu bug when she went to the doc on Friday. My oldest went with her and she just reported feeling yucky too. Soooo, me and the evil genius that is my red headed gamer girl are sequestered away from them making avatars on Roblox. She always finds a way to make it a competition. Tonight its whoever makes the best anthropomorphic dragon character wins. Wins bragging rights I guess. I never win as the judge is always her older sister. Fun tho.

We were near the house and the pink-haired horn-rimmed-glasses woman who pulled up on our right saw That Damned Kitten standing in my lap staring out my window. She was making "such a cute Kitteh" faces, so I pulled TDK and switched sides for her. The woman loved it and loved it more when kitten pulled out of my hands and went to the passenger window to look at the woman until the light changed.


And "they" say that they're just dumb animals.
