So I used AI today to compose an email to a senior person or company. I just put in “ write an email to a senior person asking for their product information so we can share it across their organization.”

It’s spat out some corporate sounding bullshit. I made a couple of changes, and it took me seven or eight minutes instead of 45 to 60 minutes that I probably would’ve spent trying to compose the perfect email.

The kicker was, my boss sent me a message late today saying what a killer message that was!

That's interesting. I'ma have a remember that for if'n I needs it somewhere down teh road.


I like my new iPad. It has talk-to-text and seems to be a bit smarter than the phone, and the laptop is just a dumbass. I belted out a 5000-word essay week before last in the 30 minutes or less that it took me to say it. I have to make a couple of changes and correct a few wording errors, but it's ready to edit, which I don't mind doing by hand.


I doubt that I would ever teach AI to express Me like I want Me expressed.

Power was restored... took them 3 hours, not 2. Wonked out my whole work day. Thankfully it was all over by the time the Handyman showed. And... no surges. Of course I shut off or unplugged most items when the first text came from the power company.

And with that, it's an hour earlier than my usual but I feel the need for a hot shower once I finish my soup.

Not really looking forward to this week at work…maybe stay in the warm areas? Sounds like the Flu bug is making its rounds. Everyone stay hydrated and take lots-O-Vit C…and Zinc…nurses, can I get an AMen?

Well, Mrs. Mitt is worse today so it's official. She caught the creeping crud.

Gonna get the dog washed at Tractor Supply and head next door to it and pick up a fresh supply of Advil, Tylenol and Mucinex. Probably wouldn't hurt to pick up some juice.

She gets sequestered in the sun room today instead of the kitchen with me. Gonna prop her up in front of the heater, recline her on the couch, put her tablet and TV remote next to her and make some hot basil and green onion broth for her to sooth her throat.

The oldest isn't up yet and she might need the same treatment today as they were both at the same docs office when this was picked up.

Keep those hands washed and tissues handy people.

Try this stuff Mitt…wife takes it everyday, and basically wards off the evil stuff. I only tend to take it when I start to feel bad, but it knocks it back. We used to get it at our local health food store but the couple that ran it became full time missionaries so we found it on Amazon…go figure. 1000 mg of all the good stuff, Vit C, and Zinc and whatnot. It’s a paste that you’re supposed to mix with water. I just squeeze it on my tongue and chase it with water…it works either way!

Wife still has the crud and a 100.5 fever. She said it's cycling between chills and too hot. Whenever I go to take her temperature and tell her to bend over she gives me 'that look'! (I'll stop asking when the stops giving me the look... )

Yesterday was busy with a 2 mile walk inside the Mall. And many more business are shutting down. The mall is going through a transition. Still a great place for a walk. Then of to the bank, car wash which was super busy, and visit with my GF who is taking turns providing meals to her 80 year old neighbor recovering from sespsis. Got back and scheduled the biopsy.

Today is a breeze; painters and then to the vet.

Feels like a 2 cupper today

Morning all.

Wife still has the crud and a 100.5 fever. She said it's cycling between chills and too hot. Whenever I go to take her temperature and tell her to bend over she gives me 'that look'! (I'll stop asking when the stops giving me the look... )

We're getting a good bit of snow again (surprise...).

I recall a weekend with a babysitter where she insisted on "sweating out the fever". Was a rare trip my parents took leaving us at home with a sitter. All of us kids got sick at the same time. Didn't hurt anything but it's bunk. Absolute myth with no empirical evidence to back it up at all.
Hope the wife feels better soon! And good luck with the snow.

Finally back to winter. Temps about 20°F and headed to 0°F as the week goes on. Time to get the car washed on the way home to get all the spray off it (and I have a free coupon). It won't freeze up because it sleeps in a heated garage.
