Slept in a bit today cuz my wife and I saw the Bob Dylan movie last night. It was quite good!

Pete Seeger had a major role in the film (I had no idea), but he taught my dad how to play guitar. Pretty good flick.

Some are just heading to bed, some of us are just coming into the joint. Had a good day today. Got to walk with my kids in 60F weather. Given that Monday, Tuesday, *and* Wednesday had highs of 1F or lower that was a real treat today. It was cloudy, and that was the only down side. So I'm pulling up to the bar, ordering a cheeseburger and a beer, and settling in for the evening.

It was freezing cold earlier this week. Literally.

And being in the high 30s this weekend felt like a heat wave! It’s all relative, I guess

I was only in Wales for about 20 minutes. Literally.

We left Bristol for Cardiff - come across the bridge and realized we were in another country. As we were crossing the bridge, we wondered if we needed to use our passports. Then we realize we left them in the safe in Bristol.

So literally, we got to the first exit in Wales, hit roundabout and headed back to Bristol. Luckily our passports were still there in the safe.

I honestly can’t remember being initiated anything. Even in the army, you’re just the FNG. Fuckin New Guy when you get to your first duty station.

It's such a cliche but mine was a fraternity and it was super mild ....not like animal house type stuff at all for me . Either way not traumatized but this place makes me nervous *side eyes everyone while sipping coffee....covers ass*
