Will you come mow mine when you're done?

I decided not to mow today as it rained hard last night and again today. I think it might be hard to try to mow tall-ish, wet grass.

I'm not certain my neighbor's mower is up to the task. I think I'm going to take myself to Lowe's tomorrow in the truck and buy the Toro mower as it comes with an extra battery.
My riding lawnmower won't start qnd my push mower pull string thingy is broken......

Good morning diners and hope your coffee is strong but smooth like your partner 😉. Of course that depends on your personal preference.

Agenda is to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday, take my grandson to his autism center and make a hearty veggie bean barley soup.

Winter decided to snow on spring this week. Not much fun with that. And freeze tonight means spring flowers will be affected.
Morning b2.

Sounds like you have another nice full day on tap!

I hope the freeze is not too severe.

It has been tough these last few days. Picture crawling around in the attic thru blown in insulation with record temps in FL trying to find a leaking water pipe!!!
Happy Monday!
Oof. That is not for the faint of heart.

Hope you find the issue. I’m sure I’m not telling you anything you don’t know, but check the fittings and couplings first.

Edit: could the record temperatures be making condensation?

You're right. If you have a full load, you can't effectively supervise. If you're supervising, you can't manage a full load.

When I was working staff, I always hated it when the unit was short staffed and I was the charge nurse. You either overloaded your staff or you took patients. I wouldn't overload staff. Neither job was done effectively. It happened a lot at night because there was no place from which to pull staff.
Yep

The temps were in the 90s. It was a leak at a fitting, 3/4" copper pipe. I got a Sharkbite fitting so I wouldn't have to sweat (must be a pun there) the repairs. Took 3 days because I had to put down some plywood to craw around on after I pushed the insulation out of the way. There were some words I will not mention but it is good now!

Sounds like a shit show.

Glad you got it though. Shark bite is the shit. Totally changed plumbing so it shithead like we can even make some basic repairs.

(Found out the hard way that I should shut the water off in the winter at our farm building.)

Get what you want...u deserve it
I’m only laughing at this comment because of this conversation that will undoubtedly happen.

“ dont you have like seven or eight other handguns that pretty much do the same thing?” (I think she’s given up counting, which probably is for the best…)

“ yeah but not this particular handgun.”

Damn, I wish I was there to help. 😟

I need to get a trickle charger. My neighbor said he would do it but he has a lot on his plate. I just need to take my push mower to my dad. I was also considering buying a new one. This keeps happening, and it is so old that it doesn't self propel anymore if it ever did, and it's like pushing a wagon with no wheels to mow. It was gifted to me, so it may be time to just buy one.

Maybe getting a new one maybe the best bet. It will take forever for someone to come by and fix your tractor.

How old is the tractor?

Tractor only has 150 hrs on it... essentially an old (9 yr old) barely used tractor..I bought from the john deer store used.. may need a new battery... we will see. It is the push mower that needs replaced
