Mother Mopar was the first, but also the last, to introduce a pony car to the buying public. The Plymouth Barracuda dropped the hammer first, on April 1, 1964. The Dodge Challenger made landfall on September 25, 1970. The late arrival from Dodge landed a powerful blow in its debut year, selling nearly 77,000 units, and a quarter of those wore the R/T emblem.

I drove a Challenger from Pa to NYC. It was usually a 3 hr plus trip and I made it in 2 hrs. Great car.

Good morning on this, rainy, wet, soaked, drenched Monday. It's been pouring here since last night, and the phone app says rain until Tuesday some time! This is really saturating and melting the snow. Pasture is 80% open, but the woods look just the opposite. Might take a ride to look at the flood levels today (spring tradition here).

I'm way way way behind, might not catch up. Did you all have a good weekend?

Busy week this week, and I got a FNG starting this afternoon or in the morning. I'll have to bring this one along. I'll figure out how, I reckon, when we get going a bit. I need to do better than the last one.

As @Missk_2022 said, evaluate for DAS (Dumb Ass Syndrome) then determine next steps. Let's hope the job promotion and hiring part of the process is doing their part to weed some of these out. Otherwise all they'll get are the dumb assess who can't get hired anywhere else.

The art of letter writing seems to be gone…

There is still something special about sending someone a letter and I do it from time to time using my fountain pen!

So the village just took over the cemetery because all the people that did run it have passed away. There is some landscaping that will need to be done in addition to mowing....

Asking for a friend... if said friend volunteers to do the landscaping and there are peonies that said friend doesn't have and said friend takes a small piece for my..err her yard is that okay???

she should be okay but I recommend your friend visit at midnight if she/he has the err the b........ ottle. less likely to disturb anyone's sense of morality

Step one---- determine if he is q dumb ass or not

He's not!!! He may not be a Rhodes Scholar, but he has good experience and he seems to have his shit in a reasonably cohesive state. They're moving from Boise ID to Myrtle Beach SC. He has a wife and 4 kids, at least 2 of whom are at home still. He was Army, so Wonderer will like him. Wat misses his Marine but military will do. I feel good about this.


The worker bees, however, need to be retrained from scratch.

No fancy pen here but I do still put pen to paper for some folks. And I'm the auntie who sends actual, physical cards for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Texts, too... but paper cards with the handwriting.
Cursive depending on their age - we encourage reading first, fancy letters after

Very pretty. A sibling just mentioned on Easter that they're going to a big Tulip Festival in Iowa next month. (I don't remember which one - several towns in Iowa do this in May)
