On my trips to France I had pressed Duck at a La Tour d'Argent was my most memorable. Depending where I was in France I found it very interesting how each area had their special way to prepare and deliver foie gras. Sometimes duck, sometimes goose and in Lyon seared and served with a red glaze on it and moscato wine. I found the seafood from the Aegean sea or Mediterranean to be my favorites. The langoustines and scallops had such rich flavor compared to here. Charolais beef was so tender and flavorful. I specially liked my waitress at the cafe de la paix when I had beef tartar. I think she liked me too. Or maybe it was just how beautiful she was and had her fingers in my meat. I cannot say I found veal while in France. I am sure I would have had it if I saw it. Maybe I did. Each time I was in France I was there to eat. I do love to succeed in re-creating a textured sauce I remember from there. Never have I found anything close to the mushroom soup.Living in rural France, veal is plentiful and available on many restaurant menus. Duck is, however, the most commonly found meat.
Wow! Your brownies and chocolate Chips look sooooo much better than mine. I always blame my gas oven, but yours look so good. Mmmm Sorry I can't appreciate the tarts. Too sweet for me. Taste good but I don't care for the shock and upset after I eat them. Sleep is the only remedy.Got caught up and it's just a tich past midnight! I was a busy baking girl yesterday and today.
Yesterday was brookies and chocolate chip cookies.

Today, I made mini Bakewell tarts. I don't have mini tart pans so I used my giant muffin pans. This took me HOURS and was a PITA to get the pastry crust into the pans right. The largest cutter I have only covered the bottom of the well. I had to cut strips of dough and piece them together for the sides.
They actually turned out fine. I cut one in half then put frosting on one half and powdered sugar on the other half. I like the powdered sugar. The frosting overpowered the delicate sweetness of the tart. These are going to friends; they're getting powdered sugar on top unless someone begs for frosting!![]()
Tacos are Lebanese.Ceasar salad was developed in mexico....
Are you up in Port Richmond under the Betsy Ross Bridge? The Polish deli there had the best kielbasa and the fresh butter. I liked to have a few Pierogi with it. The grandma behind the counter would try and set me up with her grand daughter. Made us both blush.Yum!!
There’s an excellent Polish, bakery and deli near us. They have all kinds of naughtiness there.
Yep. There was a guy in the kitchen in the bar I could walk to in Haddon Township. Ritchie. His were the best cheesesteaks. And clams and veal marsala and and and.I always enjoy the historical sites. The best cheesesteaks for me are in the Philly burbs but that is me.
So does Lent.It breaks the no fish rule

Fishtown, much more frightening part of town south of there. In the abandon docks there I caught catfish upwards of 50lb.
I am no beauty and until 8 months ago was fat fat fat 400 lbs fatCuz boys are stoopid and gross?
I liked the 20$I only have tales of corporate stuff.
win column:
I turned $20 into security a year ago. I literally found it in a parking lot. There were no one who picked it up at the lost and found, so they handed it back to me today.
Got a bunch of shit scheduled that have been difficult to schedule.
Made it to Philly without too traffic.
Loss column:
People and work in general. Dumb work Complexity. Being a member of the E4 mafia I always try to figure out a way to get shit done. Today was very trying in that regard.
My colleague is retiring and they’re not backfilling her position, so the 50% of the time that I used to dedicate to another team I have to pull off of. That team‘s boss is being very demanding with my time and I don’t have it. She don’t pay me so she’ll just have to wait.
Not sure yet column.
I am fucking spent and I have to go to a work dinner to celebrate my bosses birthday (who pays me, as opposed to the other boss who does not pay me)
I try not to bitch too much about work, TTYL.
