It becomes almost twice a week.What I think i'm gonna do this summer is cut it as high as I can.So it doesn't burn out.

Early on I cut it shorter, but as things dry up I leave it longer. I think longer grass is harder on some of the weeds we have around here too.

Ugh…I HATE the dunker! I grew up a swimmer and still had a little anxiety about that thing!

Always cut a little longer. It helps “shade” younger shoots and helps the lawn from drying out so fast. As you say it helps choke out some weeds also. The down side is you end up cutting sooner, but you will end up with a healthier lawn.
