My son and I worked security for the annual Air show here. We got there early for the training and walked around before the crowds to view the planes up close without a lot of people.

The same rules on what you can bring onto the airfield apply as the local airport. No one knew that so many pocket knives were bagged and secured until after the show when people departed.

It was very hot that day. We did not work it again but have gone to the show several times.

About Tai Chi- I still know a few good moves but I keep twisting my knee when I should by pivoting on the ball of my foot. That meant hurting knee! So I’m now trying standing Pilates. So far it’s good.

My priority is walking and doing PT for the gluteal tendinitis. I’m still waiting for the order for PT from my doctor.

For me? I lube up before the clear out. Otherwise it's excruciatingly painful. I find this worse than the prep actually. I tolerate simple vaseline - but make sure it's not scented. Yes - there is scented vaseline these days.

I think we all do the same to an extent. I do like discovering "new" be it music, authors, foods... anything really. At the same time, I do return again and again to my faves. 🤷‍♀️

When my care team says stuff like this, I like to ask how they fared when they had the test/procedure/whatever done themselves (or their mom, wife, sister, daughter). Their response helps inform my decisions - that and my own, independent research. :LOL:

Same, girl! My A/C has been off almost all weekend. Given what it's doing and its age? I'm expecting I'll need to replace both furnace and A/C... and it's almost certain if will not be completed before some really hot and smoky weather hits. So then I also get to play the "Home or Hospital Game" with reactions.

I've put out a Princess Lea distress call to who I hope will be my Obi Wan Kenobi (aka guy who did the orig installs).

Well, vacation is humming along, although the storms have been popping up this past week. Heading to the doc for a stress test. 🙄. I tried to tell them my job and wife are stressful and I didn’t need to do this…they weren’t buying it! 😂

Did I tell y’all it’s hot? The rest of the week is focused on hitting the water hopefully…If Mother Nature cooperates.
