I was once in Rome, on an evening food tour, with several Americans in our group. The audible mass intake of breath, when our guide explained that Alfredo was no more authentic italian than peanut butter and jelly, is a moment that still makes me laugh to this day. It rained on and off all day (thunderstorm woke me up around 4ish this morning) so didn’t have to clean the garage! I win…well, sort of…she gave another indoor job of shredding junk mail that’s piled up for 6 months…didn’t get to go fishing…so…might be a 1/2 point for me? I’m still claiming victory though!
Today is another day, and that woman has proven to be tenacious when it comes to putting me to work on a project she’s determined that I finish….
