Well I sort of have to do it politely in this case. It’s the company chief underwriting officer and our uS operations CUO. They thought they had an agreement. It’s very political: control, fear of loss of control, who’s more important and who is subservient.

Total horseshit.

But it’s time for an alignment meeting. Sadly the company culture is all nicely nicely and sometimes ya gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette.

I got that constantly as the head of Quality. I would go to their department meetings and listen to the whining and moaning. I simply told them they could do as they wished. The consequences are...

I got traction only when their bonuses were affected.

She’s on Ambien? Not sure if she can take that for the first week or so? i have the Sleepy Time tea here at the house so will take some over today. I’ve heard of Valerian but not sure where. Between me you and the fence post, I think she’s addicted to the Ambien…

Yard work, Yard work, Yard work. Preaching to the choir in this Spoon. Going to tidy up a couple of loose ends and finally get on the water. I hate going on the weekend. Too many Yahoo’s but I know me some out of the way places. Our town has quadrupled its size in the last 30 or so yrs but they haven’t added anymore boat ramps…that’s what happens when all 7 of your county commissioners are real estate agents…and oh yeah, the mayor and his wife.

Ambien is good for short term use. I'm not at all sure it's a good sleep aid for the more geriatric population. Ask her PCP about Trazodone. It's an old drug that has few side effects for the elderly. Certainly fewer than Ambien.

My normal sleep is about 6 hours and I can function on that much. But when I get 7+, wow I have so much energy.

I am thrilled to get over 7 hours! It doesn't happen that often for me.

I ended up letting my helper mow while I pulled weeds. We worked together in the yard for 3 hours! And completely filled the yard waste bin!

It was awful this morning! I missed something really important today because I couldn’t breath in it even with an n95 and carbon mask.

We're back down to 185 AQI. Not that that's much better.

Looks like most of the upper Midwest is about the same.

Guess it's going to be a hide inside day again today!

Now we think of that or tell a young mother and they just gasp at what we did as kids. Or they don’t believe us. But im here to tell everyone ya were did these things as little kids and we mostly survived.

I was chatting with my phone service woman at the store while waiting for my stuff to download, and she told me about her dad having her daughter on the skid steer with him. Kid was having a ball and so was dad, but mom got a bit freaked out by it all. I would have loved that as a kid.

I'm usually a huge proponent of PT but, in your case, I think it's a good idea for you to pause it. PT shouldn't hurt that much.

I'm so sorry you're feeling alone.

The feelings comes and go close to the anniversary of her passing. I know many on here understand. I am glad I can vent here as my children and her children just begin to cry if we talk about it. The interesting thing is it seems worse the third year! Any the swings in emotion are shorter and less intense and yet there.

This morning I have been feeling sleepy and upbeat. Emotions are so unpredictable.

Trying to wind down for the day.

Been watching the smoke get thicker and thicker here. Air quality index is in the mid 300 again now. Buttoned up the garage workshop, and turned off the air exchange in the house. Will try to keep it out as long as possible. Fire must be closer than the last one, it smells more like burning plastic than the last one. I know it's just forest fires, but smells bad this time through.
