We’ll have to change that Laddie! Between Greylag, Crankbait, Boat, and myself…possibly Wonderer, we’ll show you the road to eternal bliss!

And ford calls it something else. The GM folks call it that.
Mopar maniacs call it "Sure Grip."
UghTook mom to the phone store. That only went about halfway decently. Her phone account is a fucking disaster. Got out of there and she was grumpy. Took her home and dropped her off and was headed home in a big ass thunderstorm blew through. Rained like a son of a bitch. Fiddled around the house for a few minutes and the power went out. It flashed back-and-forth a few times and then went out for good. It’s been out ever since. Lunch was a can of beans that was sitting on the pantry shelf. Good thing I have a manual can opener.
Fucking electricity….
I think I was about 11 when I started raking hay with the old ford 8N or 9N. Then driving the loaded wagons of hay back to the barn. Had to keep your hand on the gear shift handle going down hill, one or the other would pop out of gear then. Getting pushed down hill at high speed with a full hay wagon was not something you wanted to do. I think the leased hay field was 3 miles from the farm, quite a drive along the gravel roads.Super C. I find it amazing that many of us survived those years. Yup 8 was about right we could sort of reach the peddles if we slid slightly off the seat lol
And you're a nurse? I'm pretty sure you've done things worse than removing a hook from a fish!I can bait the hook and catch the fish but I can't pull the fish off the hook...grosses me out
New vote, for number one post taken out of context!....it's a bit tricky but the dense fudgy end is worth it.
Yeah.... but fish are not people.... and i am not causing people's death or making them eat wormsAnd you're a nurse? I'm pretty sure you've done things worse than removing a hook from a fish!
For me it was poopy diapers with the kids. Hated that job! Give me a nice big deer to gut, and I'd be shoulder deep in that thing, no problem! Diapers, no way!
What are those?
Summer corn is so good. I don’t even bother cooking it. Shuck it and eat it raw.Dozen eggs cooked. I have some broccoli i need to do something with.... blanch and freeze? I also got some corn in my farm basket....
You musta needed that sleep!Spent the complete morning sleeping in. All of it! Looked at the clock early, and rolled over and passed out. Musta needed it, woke up at noon.
Then out to the garage to drill more spot welds out of Rusty Car, and clean up around the old panel. New panel now sits in place, but gotta make a hammer form to replace a small piece of sheet metal that rotted out. Gotta dig for sheet metal, hopefully there's something around...
Have a couple of maple boards for the hammer form, but it was getting to be time for a break. Well, and some dinner (lunch???), whatever, the second meal of the day!![]()
Now we think of that or tell a young mother and they just gasp at what we did as kids. Or they don’t believe us. But im here to tell everyone ya were did these things as little kidsI think I was about 11 when I started raking hay with the old ford 8N or 9N. I’ve got a shotgun made in that year... my gpa was born in 1916
Those are Hibiscus... possibly "dinner plate" Hibiscus... they're beautiful, but have virtually zero scent. What are those?
