I've had the opposite happen. I would be cleaning out my desk at work and stumble across chocolate that somebody had given me at either Christmas or valentines.

Invariably, whoever was watching me do this would ask if I was planning on eating that chocolate to which I would reply, "nope". Then they'd ask if they could have it.

As they were reaching for it I would warn them that it was at least, in some cases, five or seven years old.

They said the same thing. Chocolate doesn't really expire.

I said "well what about when it gets those white spots on it?"

They said, "eh, that's just the sugar crystallizing. Just makes it a little crunchier. it's still good."

I got rid of a lot of candy that way over the years :LOL:

Not here! We're under another atmospheric river. And it's cold! 🥶 We've had rain, torrential rain, and deluge. The mountains have received over a foot of snow! Skiers are happy!

Big shout out to @likes2watchU for helping me research that movie I’ve been yapping about and searching the better part of twenty yrs to find! All the talk about MTeeVee yesterday had me thinking about it again, and L2’s research nailed it down! Fantastic Planet (La Planète sauvage, 1973-the original French) is it. Funny how the years have warped my memory about it…everything I’ve been searching for was not only off by 20 odd yrs but the things I thought I remembered about it were wrong!😂

Anyhow…L2 dug in and found it in a couple of hrs of research. Thank you my dear! Your MZ——
