I saw a handsome gray-and-white tuxedo cat sitting on my front porch when I came home on Tuesday. I asked if he wanted food and he said nothing. So he got food and water, too. He's a big good-looking boy (I think). The dish was empty yesterday morning, and again this morning. I refilled it both times. The cats are looking out the front window a bit more. I did see him looking at me as he had some kibble for Morning Snack.


Wat may have found - or Allah has sent - Cat Number Four.


Off to visit Mom to see wuddup and then off to the bloods for grub-n-chat.


You kids play nice . . . .

Power came on in the evening. House was still at 68F, so hadn't really cooled off much. Apparently they're having a lot of trouble with power in town. I keep getting messages from Walgreens that they're closed, then open, then closed, then open.

We had rain for about 12 hours before it turned to snow, all that water under the snow along with the wet snow that followed makes for miserable shoveling. It likes to stick to the snow blower. Finished cleaning up about 7pm last night. About to head out to clean the driveway again. Looks like at least another foot of fresh snow out there.

Sort of glad we didn't travel yesterday. :LOL:

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has a great one. Ours will be a thankful one but low key.

They called Mamma (Mama?) in early yesterday, then we sat for close to 2 1/2 hrs…🤷🏻‍♂️. That was the low point, as everything after went fine. Two cemented disks and other than where they put the needle in, she said she feels a lot better. Kept her off the Oxy and crawling out of windows and just Tylenol. The youngest and I platooned watching her last night (I snuck off to throw darts) and then I spent the night.

Woke up and we watched some Macy’s Parade, then I turned the gas logs the wrong way and spent some quality time on the floor cussing getting the pilot light lit on her ancient logs. Cleaned out her fridge…there were…some offensive smells coming from a bowl of tuna, so decided to just wipe out stuff that needed wiping.

Back home and will get everything cooked here then back over. At some point I’m going to pour a Maker’s 46…

I am back from lunch and watching football.There was lots of turkey and all the trimmings. I just finished off the pie. After the game it’s walking the old dog who has nine lives. 😂

It’s a good game by banged up teams. I wished the NFL was not a race of teams with less attrition.
