Absolutely correct. I've seen many vertically-challenged male acquaintances behave like this. I've seen loads of them join a variety of committees to feel important, but they very soon get found out because they do all these things for the wrong reasons.

Everyone enjoying their early taste of Christmas spirit?

My wife and I drove to a local shopping centre this afternoon and when I spent three seconds deciding which parking space to use, the guy in the car behind me started beeping his horn, waving his arms and shouting obscenities.

Twenty minutes later, having bought some new lights for the tree, I saw him and his wife waiting patiently in the queue at the checkout. I looked in his direction and gave him a broad smile.

When he realised I was nearly a foot taller than him he shuffled away and hid behind the mince pies display.

What is it that turns people into raging morons the moment they get behind a steering wheel?

I drove taxi in NYC for a few years while going to school. It isn't always the same but my favorite is still the guy running down Madison Ave. naked. Or maybe the guy in front of Penn Station waving a gun or the TVs that hailed a cab and I cut off three other guys to pick them up. They were all rather tall! LOL

Thought about bagging darts last night, but sucked it up and glad I did. Got paired with the same gal from last week and we stunk up our first match. Mainly due to me…

We rallied out of the losers bracket and went on to face her husband (again) and a semi-pro dude that shows up every now and again. We took them to three matches, which is a victory in and of itself. In second for the third week in a row! Not bad.

Doing some decorating today. SWMBO has me putting together her office desk and chair. Need to get some shells for the range tomorrow. Semi busy day. Everyone have a great day!

It's amazing how much your quality of life improves when you find the right meds.

I wouldn’t be surprised it started as a head cold and then the sinuses became infected. If so, take the meds. I have a lifetime experience with sinus infections. Try warm packs and steamy showers.

Neti pot / nasal rinse - In addition to warm packs and hot showers, I flush the heck out of my sinuses when I get an infection.

Good for you on getting out there and walking! A local high school has a new walking track. It's open late Oct to May1 for indoor walking at night. Only 4 days a week, but it's free.

Hate when that happens. That's when I break out my hoodie, heated scarf (runs on a power pack), and a slouch hat. Get the neck and head covered... socks on the ankles and sleeves on the wrists. All 5 of the Human Thermostat covered and I'll warm up after a bit. Hot soup (temperature not spice) and a hot beverage helps, too.
