In all the years we’ve been doing this, I have been stiffed only twice.

About 10% of the time, wood will be gone, but no money… then magically it shows up a couple of days later… which makes me think that most people are inherently good.

I sell 6-7000$ a year in firewood so it happens at a very minuscule rate
 
Merry Christmas eve all.

For some reason life keeps dragging me different directions, so I keep missing out on the chatter here. :(

Finally feeling a little better today, so hopefully turned the corner this bug. Even my teeth hurt the other day! Wife said, "oh, yeah. I had that one last week!"... :mad:

Then one of the offsprings cars was delivered here on a wrecker today mid day. It's mostly back together now, but will stay for a few days yet. Once it's been desalinated, and dried off, there's a couple a more things to address. Kid never slows down enough to let me get a peek at this thing...

We're all cozied up, enjoy a nice quiet evening. I'm hoping to find the original die hard on one of the streaming services somewhere. Somehow that's become a tradition. 😂

Wife my is making some cinnamon rolls right now, so we can have them for breakfast tomorrow morning.

It's a weird year. It just doesn't feel like Christmas already.

May or may not be checking back in tonight. So good night to all.

I'm trying to recover from ANOTHER flu that got dragged to my boat in the 3rd week of my hitch.
 
The best part of Die Hard isn't when Hans Gruber goes off the building, although to be perfectly clear, that's a damned good part. The best part is when John disembarks and is walking through the airport and he whips out a cigarette and fires that mother up.


It reminds me of being a kid and riding with my smoking parents in a car in the winter with the windows rolled up.


I always cracked the glass no matter the weather.
