Yep. Who knew a 50 gallon gas WH was 2k installed.

Wow! That's a really good price!! Most of the cheaper 30-gallon heaters in my area start around that price... then they warn the install is extra/separate and can run as high as $10K depending on what all the plumber needs to do to get it connected.
I'm thinking there may be a Bewbie Surcharge buried in those costs somewhere??

I think Nestle changed their chips. It melts in the double boiler and first dip it turns solid as a rock.

Nestlé chocolate chips don't melt easily because they're formulated with less cocoa butter and contain stabilizers like soy lecithin, which give them a higher melting point and help them hold their shape during baking.

Use chopped baking bars or wafers instead of chips for smoother melting

I had the hardest time with cookies lately. The butter is weird or the eggs or something.... i figured out using 1/2allpurppse and 1/2 1:1 king arthur gluten free flour and cooking in middle rack 12 minutes made the perfect chewy cookies. And i mixed by hand instead of kitchenaid...oh and i use the recipe on back of ghiradelli bag

I had considered having a cremation diamond made. I ultimately decided against that as it’s hella expensive and I feel the money can be used in more productive ways.

Etsy has some interesting cremation jewelry... for pet ashes. Something about laws against certain activities with human ashes. I say, "Don't ask, don't tell"

Thanks for advice. It was easy to put off. I took everything to my lawyer who made the changes. I paid good money for it. So unless I marry someone (NOT) I will be good in Michigan. In Michigan all changes are done by a lawyer unless you want to go to probate.

At our ages, I see no reason to ever marry again!

I had a discussion with my lawyer after the signing. I want to keep as much of my estate out of probate as I can. She had a lot of suggestions, many of which I've already done.

It is a cold, rainy and foggy day. I hoped to get some shoes for my ankles and sure enough, the ankle problem flared up again. While waiting for the pain meds to work, I called about the referral to an oral surgeon. I am still waiting to hear from them. It’s been 6 weeks since I had a referral. Is the medical establishment that backed up?

I will be leaving to pick up the grandkids in a couple of hours. So I hope I get a call.

Another busy day today! I made it to the gym after not being there for a month! She said she was going easy on me. My definition of "easy" is clearly different from my trainer's!

I had errands to run after gym. We had a windstorm today with rain and temps in the high 30s. It made erranding unpleasant!
