The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I'm still catching up after the holiday and some tragedy like that hot water heater. Before I make chocolate chips I am going to try the nutella cookies I was going 1 for 1 with my sisters Christmas cookies.
Related, this is the second year I tried melting the chocolate for the logs my mom used to make. Double dips I think they are called. I think Nestle changed their chips. It melts in the double boiler and first dip it turns solid as a rock.
I had the hardest time with cookies lately. The butter is weird or the eggs or something.... i figured out using 1/2allpurppse and 1/2 1:1 king arthur gluten free flour and cooking in middle rack 12 minutes made the perfect chewy cookies. And i mixed by hand instead of kitchenaid...oh and i use the recipe on back of ghiradelli bag

Okay, up. Coffee. Today is (usually) reimbursement payout day, but not this one, or at least not yet. May come later - we'll see. We get the PM come to visit at work today. He's a bit of a twat, but it could be worse, I suppose.

I left my travel mug at the office so's I'll be forced to pay full price for coffee this morning. This is truly an injustice, moreso than their rounding errors on giving change back because they're quietly fucking us, $0.02 at a time . . . .
I hate it when they automatically put my change in the tip jar. I'm a good tipper and like to decide what it will be. 😤😤

A very productive day. Also it is very understandable that it took a year to
revise the will. I took my time to resolve the trusts. I still have not finalized my “5 wishes” which supplements wills and trusts after 3 years.

Making jewelry from his ashes is a wonderful tribute to your husband.
I was just procrastinating on reading the documentation she sent. She created a will, a trust for the twins, a POA, and a DPOAHC. She gave me some homework. I'm to create a spreadsheet with my recurring monthly bills and how they're paid in the event I'm incapacitated and my nephew has to step in. There's also a property form in case I want to make bequests not covered by the will. I can sent that form to her office to be added to the will.

I haven't had any jewelry made from my husband's ashes. The hearts I had made are about 4 inches in diameter. They will sit in a stand; I plan to display them on one of the new open floating shelves.

I had considered having a cremation diamond made. I ultimately decided against that as it’s hella expensive and I feel the money can be used in more productive ways.
