She’s got great lines, and as they say in that movie The Philadelphia Story, she’s Yar! Wat, Wonderer, and myself probably have enough know how to get’er seaworthy. Now if you have reservations of setting sail on an old boat, and suffer the same fate as the poor crew of the Minnow, then maybe this little gem?

She’s a 50 Beneteau, a fine sailor. Notice the straight bow…that’s a modern adaptation. Even the military is launching their new boats with this.

So, we need a crew. I nominate Boat as Cpt. I’ll be first mate (as long as I can wear the Gilligan hat!), we need a purser, a bartender, a hostess…any other Love Boat crew I’m forgetting?

The rest of Ye Scurvy Dogs can cast lots for what remains!

DON’T SAY ANOTHER WORD! They’re recording your voice and then mixing it with AI to scam…

Everyone hates him, ESPN even did a 30 for 30 with that title. But he remains one of the greatest college basketball players ever. 4 Final Fours and 2 Nattys

That 30 for 30 was a good show. Growing up in NC, I’m an ACC fan…didn’t go to any of the top tier schools (they don’t let hillbilly’s like me near fine establishments) but watched the great play of all the teams. State, Carolina, and Duke had amazing runs at different times…oddly back to back many years.

Laetner in my mind is the best collegiate basketball player of the modern era (three pt line/35 sec clock). I was a tad too young to remember other great players outside of the ACC in the 70’s but they were in a different era in my book anyhow. I’ll go a step further and say those Duke teams of 92-94 really were spectacular. They should have beaten Arkansas in ‘94.

The back to back National Champ teams I’d rank the best all time, although Florida may argue that point. Quick name two players off that FU team? I can only think of one and the coach….

Fully agree with you there!
I know of one here that was denied warranty work, because it was "offroading". The old couple who bought it lived on a gravel road. They denied warranty because it had dirt on the undercarriage.

Vehicle repairs have gotten to the point that before I shop for something new, I look at what the cost to repair them is. One company might want $5000 for a headlight, and another will want $500. $500 is still stupid, but a lot palatable.
