Okay, up. Coffee. Reimbursement check arrived this morning, a day late but in full. Its delay may have been weather related. The work begins today. We should be in decent shape. At least it warmed some yesterday. It may rain tonight - we'll see. There is a warning for Sever (the E is left out for effect) Weather this afternoon and evening, but it's going to stay above freezing, so it shoont (shouldn't - again, for effect) but no any big deal. Hain't skeert.

Somewhere, a weasel is pining to be in a casserole . . . .

I do like shoont!

When my daughter was young and learning to speak, she would say “no I amnt.”

We used to run into this with freon tanks while recharging a/c units/systems. Seems to me we'd turn the tank over and/or put it in a bucket of water. It does it at the valve, making things not flow.

Between the lot of us I think we could come up with a good Sitcom or at least a decent movie. Based on our collective recollections of weasels and scoundrels of our past and present places of employment!

I wish I could demonize him more, but in reality, he’s actually a nice dude. Just a YesMan Corporate type that has no real bearing on my day to day life. Fun to laugh at but harmless.

Now the other MoFo’s up there…

Got the driveway shoveled and with a little help from Mother Nature, it was fairly quick work. Time was of the essence as the little Texas Tornado was coming over and she and I had a fire to start and snowballs to make. Had a sighting of our visiting Possum (he’s getting big!) and not sure if it was the cold, but he was moving slow. He let us get close and it was a treat for her to see.

They’re calling for a wintery mix tonight, so might be doing some more shoveling before it’s over. Happy HumpDay! Now get to work!
