My credit agencies have been warned. Thanks. I also have 2 step authentication which blocked them from any account. However they managed to add someone to my Zelle account but were unable to send money.

As my Zelle account is through my bank, it probably saved me. I will l call the bank today about this. As for Zelle I locked them out by disabling my email on Zelle. I don’t think Zelle is very secure.

Any thoughts on Zelle?

I don't use it or any kind of cash app. I don't know enough about them and it just feels unsafe to me.

Its been snowing here since about 130. But I don't think it will accumulate on the road. Good snow. Looks super fluffy and light. It was windy when it started. Now calm. Sometime during the night we get the wind.

I was able to blow most of it off the deck and grill tent with my trusty Makita. The driveway was a different story. Some of that I kind of made a path with a broom. The steps I scraped off and then swept. So if they make it from the driveway without breaking their neck they can get up the steps. Some of the more sensationalized weekend forecasts are for 30-50mph gusts. I am hoping they are wrong.

An update after talking to the bank’s fraud department, I froze my account. Now I have a new account, I can’t use it until the laptop is cleaned.

I am taking the laptop to the good shop here that will scan and clean. I drop it off tomorrow and pick it up Monday.

Fortunately the iPhone is not affected. So I can come here. My money is safe now.

The lesson is learned. My GF feels bad but it’s not her fault. Her phone also was not affected.

So somehow you were hacked online / from laptop? How was money actually drawn from the account? ATM or credit transaction? I'd be interested to know the type transaction where money changed hands and alerted the fraud. Having a new account will fix that. But you need to plug the hole with more than a password.

Last olympics I tried DVR to make it so I could watch without commercials and see a whole event. NBC cuts up all the distribution so they only way is to pay for it. This year it looks like streaming on Peacock is heavily advertised. I can't find the cost nor can I discover if it is commercial free like Paramount.

When I was a kid I used to have an Metal Detector and I found all kinds of cool old rusty stuff.. Like Saw Blades etc..

There is an old bottle dump up in the woods that I want to excavate. I collect old bottles and I’ll bet there are some beauts back there.
