I barely watched the stupor bowel.

Maybe five or seven players in the first half. Bullshitting with neighbors and throwing food down my neck.

I got stuck talking to two neighbors who I didn’t particularly want to get stuck yakking to who never shut up.

Everyone was all excited about the halftime show. I still don’t get it…
1. first I don’t know what all the political hubbub was about. I know- rulez
2. It was decent. Not great.
3. I have never heard a Bad Bunny song before. In fact, I didn’t even know who he was.
4. I think the last decent halftime show was when they did Tom Petty. I think the who played maybe 15 years ago and we’re pretty good.

But mostly, it’s choreographed horseshit that totally goes against the immediacy and urgency of punk rock and metal.

It’s too safe.

So fuck it!!

I'll see if I can find a "cover" of a Tom Petty song that we listened to last night... I'm usually not big on covers, but this was AWESOME!

One of my life mentors lived out there, an old school Kentucky moonshiner. WWII Veteran that was like a grandpa to me.
Our birthdays were 2 days apart, so from the age of 16, when I could drive, I'd get a good bottle of whiskey and go share it with him. Good times!
