Thank you. I may have opportunity to work that into conversation.
Then I can call them cunts.
Yeah, that's the ticket!!!

I agree with conservation and preservation. Waste not want not. That worked for a while. But getting into the mid 80's there was so much waste in packaging. Not just the quantity of the material, but the resources it took to make all this stuff we were just throwing away. There is a lot of that still going on now. Our recycle does not take glass and several kinds of colored plastic or even egg cartons paper or the styrofoam looking stuff that says it is recyclable. I think focusing on limiting that kind of waste would be more useful and more resourceful than anything the Al Gore crowd created to build a revenue stream based on willful climate distraction. Like George said that started this thread. Earth is gonna be here whether we are or not. Teach kids the conservation like my parents did. And teach them about earth. Teach them how we modify resources and create compounds that don't easily dissolve back into the state from whence they came. These same resources we have now are the same resources they will have in the future. At least I hope they aren't dumb enough to mine the moon and bring it here? I hope there is a limit how much water they can take to Mars. Speaking of cleaning or improving things... We do need to stop destroying our reservoirs with fertilizer from home depot. That's why there are so many weeds growing in the water. That's also where all the crab went in Maryland. They were not over fished. Their breeding ground is covered with weeds. My last trip to the finger lakes was a rude awakening. The water is not near as clear as it was and again, full of weeds. There is a great debate on clarity. Many claims that fracking is the cause. I hope they keep debating. Pennsylvania needs to manage that resource not eliminate it. Like New York they have cities that are broke after all the manufacturing was pushed out. There have been some algae blooms that effected the feeder fish for Rock Fish in the Chesapeake, but for the most part it remains a successful fishery. That is one thing we have not yet destroyed that the Indians that were here before us thrived on. Just like Shad in the Delaware. That is a festival for a reason. Sounds like some of the others here may have a handle on the salmon fisheries. I hope they are still what they used to be. Some from the UK here too. What is successfully preserved on your island? The population today is the largest it has ever been. The hardest part is knowing what we don't know. In the dead middle of being burned by an environmentally conscious decision made a decade ago. The details are unbelievable, and the ramifications are mind blowing all things considered. I can diagram it out, with testing to 100% prove negative health consequences.
Point being, we should do should what we can keep our environment clean. We should do that as often as we can reasonably do it, without shooting ourselves in the foot. There is a point somewhere beyond diminishing returns where the returns may go negative. We spent a lot of years doing nothing, and that's not good. But there are time now where I see that we are over correcting.
Unfortunately, I fear a lot of that over correction is being driven by money. There's money to be made with it, so we're being taken advantage of.
Time to burn the soapbox now! LOL
Today was a mixed bag at work.
First the bad. I think we’re not getting the position backfilled from when my coworker is retiring. Short sighted. I’ll know tomrrow, but if my boss’ body language said it wasn’t good.
The good.
“Closed” a massive deal that I started on 2019. Sometimes a deal just takes a long time. It wasn’t my deal per se - we just make introductions and find partners in the same company who can help one another.
But we track them and I thought it was a lost cause. I hadn’t even thought about it for a few years myself.
Anyway - it closed
And I made good progress on one project.
And then found a panel to talk about a topic for a webinar I’m organizing.
We’ll find out about the bad part tomorrow .
Thanks for that, Noor.Just in case you didn’t know, eating too much protein can cause severe dehydration especially in elderly.
The after effects can be challenging to say the least.
Are Black Beans, Garbonzo's, Corn, Red Beans Roman Beans... Protein? I like the fiber, simplicity and low price. I do 3 cans of beans 1 corn 1 red bell pepper 1 jalapino 1 red onion chopped fine. I make my own italian dressing oil vingar spices a little honey and dijon. I mix that up and serve over lettuce. I prefer Kens country french dressing on the lettuce before the beans part. I heavy dose a layer of pomegranate and often lace it with leftovers like ham, chicken or beef.Just in case you didn’t know, eating too much protein can cause severe dehydration especially in elderly.
The after effects can be challenging to say the least.
It's when younger women dance, they bop.It also has a slang term for younger women who are sexually promiscuous...The only use of BOP i know makes no sense in this context. She is not a catchy tune
So I googled it and apperantly its short for LOLA BOP which in TIk Tok means a person with many sexual partners..The only use of BOP i know makes no sense in this context. She is not a catchy tune
So, what do you call an amalgamation made by GM and Ford that have the same parts? The GM and Ford 6,8,10 speeds are the same gearbox!BOP used to mean Buick-Oldsmobile-Pontiac back into eh 80s when GM was subject to put whatever engine in whatever brand car and people found out and got pissed. BOP was that one.
Noooo... not for every situation. Can work against you in some settings.Yesss biometrics....

Loved listening to the baseball game on the front porch with my dad. Game on the radio... chilling with dad on a warm summer nightSometimes I like to listen to sports events on the radio. Your imagination does half of the work. Especially enjoy that with baseball.

Wouldn't that be nice?U think they would just leave me the fuck alone
Following this thread is like trying to read the names of the crew in movie credits.
Is it sparkly??I was trying to stay away from criminal suggestions. My gut reaction involved a poking tool.
Tomorrow?!? What are you and OM drinking these days?!?Wait! Tomorrow is hump day! See what happens when you are retired?![]()
Win ColumnGoing to grab a quick nap, go say buh-by to the tribe at momma’s, reclaim my dark chocolate and truffle covered pretzels (if any are left) and go to bed early. That’s the plan anyhow!
I like it! Have ta sort out the maths first but then? Yasss!!Let’s pick a day…and just retire. Together. I actually may have to have some moral support to do it.
Brother, why the FUCK did we quit fishing?!?
THAT'S the greater question we should be asking ourselves.... just sayin
I used to fish all the time as a kid.
But I don’t think I’ve gone fishing in seven or eight years.
trip, Trip, TRIP, TRIPLast I went a'feeshin' was 1985.
I know . . . .
Not my usual type of tuneage... but the words spoke to my soul
I'm signed up to hopefully get tickets to LA in '28 when they go on sale. It will be a cool full circle moment for me as I went to a bunch of events in '84.

I do have a recipe if anyone is interested.
I've got a list for this, too... just sayingEach can have a fist enema attached, some more lovingly applied than others.
Coffee, yes... but also...

And no one got dizzy?the clockwise counter clockwise rule. Going clockwise around the table, everyone would get a chance to speak. Then counter clockwise, a chance for rebuttal on comments made. It worked.
You know you still need that, right?I threw my fukkin back out.
Safe travelsThey almost left me home, but then the HWIC (head weasel in charge) found me and I’m off for NY later. At least I had some time at home this am to get the tribe in gear.
Midwest checking in... too cold to fish? What now?In my defense…it’s been an unusually cold winter!![]()
Anyone else want to watch this commercial? Just me?I just horribly misread a commercial. It said "great for skin."
I was like.... Whaaaaaaaa?
The Lord weasel household is circling back around today... Doing my best to think of what needs to happen to get them the fuck out of what’s left of my hair. By the fuck, I mean all the fuck….

I told you to rest. Stubborn man!
He said he always listens without fail! I think that is what he said.
Listens, yes, does what is said?
seems to be an epidemicwhen they asked that question they had no idea
Almost had to put someone on an ambulance. Other than that. Great!
The patient is stubborn, which is both helpful and hurtful in this case. We have decided on a new rule. If you cant stand up on your own while telling me you don't need an ambulance... an ambulance is needed
We've been told nothing but cuts for at least 3-4 years... so "learn to leverage AI"First the bad. I think we’re not getting the position backfilled from when my coworker is retiring. Short sighted. I’ll know tomrrow, but if my boss’ body language said it wasn’t good.
Two-fer... protein AND starchAre Black Beans, Garbonzo's, Corn, Red Beans Roman Beans... Protein?
Anyone else envisioning youngsters (i.e. babykins) doing the horizonal mamba on those backseats?BOP used to mean Buick-Oldsmobile-Pontiac
Anyone else hear those words but with this tune?Dreaming of segmenting Weasels while they shriek
Goodnight..
Huh, on biometrics. I refused them for the same reason I won't use an app for finance or health on my phone or provide my phone number as identity.Part 1
Noooo... not for every situation. Can work against you in some settings.
3 Reasons to Never Use Fingerprint Locks on Phones
Why You Shouldn’t Use Your Fingerprints to Lock Your Phone
Same for FaceID or any biometrics
Luckily the beans, corn and such are also carbs, which helps. I heavy dose a layer of pomegranate and often lace it with leftovers like ham, chicken or beef.
At dinner I am a meateater. More protein. I do have a small baked potato and what I hope is a generous helping of a veg. Like more than the meat sometimes. Late at night I will have a bagel if there is one in the house. Or PBJ. Of too much dark chocolate. Late night is usually accompanied by milk. After 5 I drink too much wine. Stop drinking win after dinner is done unless I have good dark chocolate or made some desert wine works well with.
I drink 2 to 4 half liter bottles of water a day. Often concentrated around or during the time the wine is being poured. Sometimes, more in warmer months, bubbly water is replaced. I used to drink a lot of beer and find I still need the carbonation even if it is not from fermentation.
Am I dehydrated? I stay up late and sleep late. Would love to break this habit. I'm 61 and don't feel elderly, but I have really been enjoying the life.
