The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

I dont remember the exact story but I know Black Squirrels here sent from Rondeau Provincial park here in Ontario Canada to somewhere in the United States.
Those you are talking about are big like monkeys?
We have grey rodent size squirrels here.
I use fire brick as baffle in my smoker. They gnaw the burnt black off it. They gnaw at the ropes that hold my awning. The awning on my grill tent tore and they shredded it. I can still see strips of it flapping from an abandon nest. Like a reminder they win no matter what.
I grow most things out front. So far those squirrels have not done much damage at all. Chipmunks.... And I haven't figured out what drills holes in tomatoes yet. I've had whole pots taken over by ants.

Hmmm It must be getting closer to spring. Or seeing all the seed packs out in the stores already has me thinking.

Please next few trappings spray paint the tail before relocating. We took ours about three miles away and across a swamp. They were back in less than a week.
I was 7. By Christmas I turned 8 and got my first Daisy Pump. 750lbs behind a pellet worked great. Our problem with them is living in the rural south there came a time of year where bare feet were the norm. Walking into a pile of pricklies where a squirrel had pulled petal after petal off a pine cone to get the seeds was enough. So many splinters. Until I got my daisy.
They can make their way back from up to 20 miles away.

A few years ago, when I first started trapping them, I spray painted one of them… took it about 7-8 miles away.

Never saw the sumbitch back here.

I have a crossman 770 and a 22 single shot bolt action right by the back door:

Okokok... City of Heroes... a super hero MMORPG, I was in a music themed super group called the Juke Box Heroes. I played Roland T. Multi-Gunner (multi-gunner was the gun based power set) and my profile just said:

"Time, time, time for another peaceful war
But time stands still for Roland until he evens up the score..."

I would get private messages all the time from people telling me to get that sonofabitch Van Owen.

Um, uh @Wonderer67 He's been in my yard for 3 years.images-83.jpeg

Today was a bittersweet day. I picked up the hearts I commissioned from a local glass artist.
Absolutely gorgeous!! What a beautiful and meaningful tribute!! I love the hearts and the stands that help showcase them!! 🫂

You are going to amaze us again once your bespoke lighting solution is in place.
There are some really handy battery/rechargeable little lights out there these days. Puck Lights, Mini Spotlights, and even a field of fairy lights under the hearts - those come battery/rechargeable these days, too. I can't wait to see what you do!!

Home. Grazed a bit. Have visited and talked to all the four-legged critters. They're good. It's easy to miss me some TDK during the week. They other two, also. Got a pile of mail, so I guess they caught up on all that but they didn't deliver because ice ETM. Surprisingly, there are still a couple of ice patches in the road - small but present. Fuck some ice!!!
