We have better luck going to our local office. They mostly require you to make an appointment online, but if you can’t do that, I would suggest going on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Sometimes the weight was a short as 30 minutes, but typically about two hours, but you could talk to someone live in in person.

Save for one online assumption, I have been able to get most of my SSA info on their website. I did have to go to their office twice for a fuck-up. Go early, before they open, queue up, and the two clerks I have had were helpful and pleasant. One of the best US gummint agencies I have dealt with, if not the best.

This clowder is younger now. Whereas I have made plans and intend to outlive the lot of them, and some point, I'll have cats who survive me. Horses, too, most likely. Anyway, I talk to them about it sometimes. They don't seem to care.
 
Okay, up. No weasels, thanks be to Allah for his manifold blessings and great mercies, et cetera. Ethyl is being an in-my-face pain. TDK already smacked her in her face . . . and she took it. I have found that it helps when she gets close to put my nose on her head and exhale. She backs up a few inches then. It's quieter and more effective than berating her. Like she cares.
