I made a new recipe and it is so awful i took a bite and spit it out....blech blech blech.... i want to bleach my tongue. It was cinnamon bread and the dough was gluey.... blech yuck shiver

All the talk of game as food reminded me of the challenge my sister gave me one Thanksgiving. She was tasked with a game Thanksgiving. She told me I responsible for the duck which I never cooked! So I got the orange juice and marinated it every hour cooking it on low heat for hours. The crew loved it. I never cooked it again and don’t want to.

My BFF set her own challenge... a Wild Game Dinner for 50-100. Meatballs - a variety of camel, wild boar, and elk. Venison gumbo. You get the idea.
It was so popular, she catered for several successive years.

Up. Coffee. Here in the woods with the kids doing the Dr. Tyler memorial thing. Brother's idea, not Wat's. Breakfast looks to be grazing. The child is into walkin'-n-lookin'. He seems happy. The stars were great last night - no light pollution here. Saw a shooting star. Those are fun. We're close to the river, so I reckon we'll get in a wander down there today at some point.

OMG - same. My therapist tried showing me an exercise that started with "get on all fours". I managed not to laugh in her face... then barely managed not to cry as I felt my hands were going to break off at the wrist. And here I thought the problem children were going to be the knees.
Don't tell... but if I don't figure out how to do that one sitting or standing... it ain't fucking getting done. Owie!

Underbaked? (i.e. fixable)
I hate when a recipe bombs that badly. 50/50 it gets attempted again.
Then there are some recipes where it takes a gajillion tries before you nail it. Buffalo sauce was like that for me... went through a whole bunch of small batches before I got the balance right.
Hope it goes better if there's a next time.
