It’s so funny. They like to play.

Sometimes it end in mouse murder (my new band). Sometimes they just lose interest and are like “see ya.”

I had a cat once who was a great mouser. And birder. And rabbiter. And squirreler. He was the nicest cat.

But not to them.

Chappie is hit or miss with mice. He always finds em. Just doesn’t always finish the job well.
 
I’m siiiiiick…SWMBO…I have to blame her…nobody else has been wheezy and sneezy around me😡

Whole house. I bagged in work, kid bagged school. SWMBO, just lays about, not a care in the world…

Last two nights have been the worst. I went to bed, fell right asleep…then would wake up having these fevered dreams. Been playing some online chess matches and I keep dreaming we’re in the end game, and I go to mate, but my opponent gets more pieces. /So we do this dance of nobody wins, nobody loses…

I can’t shake it.

Finally got some rest last night. Gonna head to a pro saw bones today to see what condition my condition is in.

I couldn’t log onto Lit for about 48 hrs? Did anyone else have any problems? I woke up in the middle of the night and thought…the big ON/OFF button…guess what…🙄

I’m not well.

This weekend I also baked for my friend's mom's birthday. I chose to do an experiment; IDK why. 🤦🏻‍♀️

What I did was make a mashup of cupcakes with cheesecake. I made almond cupcake batter, then almond cheesecake batter. I poured cupcake batter in the bottom of the muffin liner then poured cheesecake batter on top.

The first batch was in regular muffin pans. They looked awful but tasted good. The next batch was in the jumbo muffin pans. These turned out much better. Still not really pretty but better.

I had cheesecake batter left over so made a half dozen mini cheesecakes on a ground almond crust. All were topped with a chunky blueberry coulis.

They were a hit! My friend's mom loved them!

OMG those look good! I haven’t eaten in two days other than a can of soup and a few mandarins. I could devour the whole thing!
