The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

It was. Is.

I prefer the Peter Green band.

I found the picture on the car site as they wondered which model it is and where it is and other useless nattering.
They write the best Fleetwood smack song… at least when Peter Green was in the band. I think he wrote Someone’s Gonna Get The Head Kicked In Tonght.

Of course Murphy’s Law improved upon it just a touch, IMO. The missus and I shall be seeing them next Sunday actually!!

We had a chat this weekend about the evolution of the Attention Span. Things have been cut down to YouT000b shorts. Clips and sound bites. Watching a movie in one sitting has become difficult. Screens seem to be to blame. It dumbs down Complex Thought for the masses, it seems. Not sure anything good comes from this condition.
Truth, brother!

Dd you hit snow on the way back?

When life gives you miserable bastards, I join The Mizzäble Bästids!

Oh yeah. It didn't amount to much and after I crossed the last mountain of any size, it switched back to rain. And at that, it never rained hard enough to turn the wipers on to Low. I was always at some level of Delay.

My poor filthy truck needs a bath desperately.

The Covid and flu tests were negative. I have a damn head cold and sinuses hurt. The body aches happen from the sinuses as one doctor once told me. I found it weird. Maybe the nurses can clarify.

So, Good Morning denizens of the diner.
Just go easy b2.

Esp those grandchildren. Don’t want to
Be getting them ill.

I liked Kansas. Eastern South Dakota and southern Minnesota were pretty dull, as I recall.
I liked eastern SD.

I did have to go to the Mitchell SD Corn Palace tho. I got there during the Cirn Festival,

Iowa was approvingly nice I thought. Thought it would be flat but it was delightfully hilly esp the western side.

I liked it all. The corn in Iowa was amazingly tall that year. Which was good, because I was very much over Dr. Tyler at that point and was looking for places to lose a body . . . .

When I traveled west in my youth, I loved Colorado. The mountains were amazing. Even the eastern plains had interesting wildlife.
