The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Good morning Wat. Books are a way to remember the good times. I have a few that are good memories with my late wife. The others go to the PTO Thift shop.

Yesterday there were winds recently up to 70 mph. My son in law was working OT to get the power lines back up. If this wild weather keeps up (more coming Sunday to Monday) I am going to invest in solar battery back up. Suggestions?

Study battery life with limited use and long term non-use. How inverter switches between AC and DC When going on and off battery. The level of coverage for damage to appliances when switching sources. Upkeep, general maintenance costs in time and money. Effort and additional costs when it is time to replace the roof under the solar panels if panels are on roof. Cost and upkeep of a backup generator as the batteries run out before the panels can charge them. The amount of power that can be expected and the time range that output can be sustained. I'd hate for you to have to choose between the fridge and heat or if you can run the coffee maker.

Got some shiznit tooken care of at the doctor's. Bro Yo and the Godson came by to carry out a few boxes and a couple pieces of furniture. Wat scored a piece of furniture, too. Wat is down to two pieces. One belongs to JUnior and will get salvaged. The other is that fawkiny000je POS that he has contacted the thrift store about coming to get. No word. They don't come this week and it goes into the dumpster in pieces next weekend. Wat sez he's fawkin' over it.

No wait, there's no moowah.
Ha. I had a couch in near perfect condition and they made up some reason they could not take it.
Breaking it up into pieces was an amazing amount of work. It was so incredibly built. I wanted to save some of the solid wood for the firepit. But the fabric was staple so securely and ingeniously I was unable to salvage much if any. It was exhausting and took several hours.

I know what you mean, and I recall demo'ing some upholstered thing once upon a time and having it be more work than I anticipated. This thing would be pulling off/out the doors-n-drawers, and then knocking the sides out and cutting up whatever won't load and carry and fit in the dumpster easily. Which is kinda why I hope the thrift store comes through.

That is truly a travesty, an injustice, and a motherfucking outrage.

Wat would've salted 'em down and et 'em anyway.
