I understand the flying anxiety. A shot of bourbon before the flight always helped. You may not want to wear short sleeves today and don't forget the sunscreen! Highs will be in the low 70s. Either way I always wear light weight very light to white colored clothing. The sun gets brutal unless you are sitting in the shade. Something that is breathable. Weather should be good.
She would never do a shot…

At least to help w anxiety. She just leans into it and I help her deal. Thankfully shes over it now.

It's funny to watch Our National Symbol land near some nasty roadkill and shove his way to the front of the line through the vultures.

And they let him do it.

Until his "bald" head is red . . . .
We had one last summer found roadkill in the ditch. Ate so much he didn't want to fly away. Just found a high spot in the field, and sat there on the ground all day. Probably regretting his decision. 8 or 10 hours his belly ache must have cleared and he took off.

I think they call that an all you can eat buffet. :ROFLMAO:

Location Location Location. Our house in PA had a driveway that was always the last to melt and first to get shut in by snow drifts.
Ours fills with snow about November, and won't clear until April or maybe even may.
Yes, we bitch about it. (You get it, you used to live north. ;))

But we don't get tornadoes or hurricanes.
I think I'd rather deal with snow. 🤷‍♂️

Motherfucker had a way with words.

A friend of mine here, since banned, did not like Chuck. I agree with her that some of Chuck got to be really old. On the other hand, he did have a way of putting his finger on what was wrong with 20th century life. So yeah, I read Chuck. Just finished a collection of essays night before last of his.

Love that. That cookbook was a classic!!

I worked as a line cook for a while in my teens. I thought that would be a good career.

I was wrong. It’s a tough life. Tough hours. Lots of alcoholism and addiction.

So I went into the army! 😂

All that to say, cooking isn’t too hard.
I read Anthony Bourdain’s Book a few years back. Being a cook is a tough life. Of course he sort of glamorized it a bit but still. Yeah, jumping from the pan (cook) into the fire (army) may not have been the best choice for less work, but look at all the stories, friends, and experiences you have! I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision.

Lots of running around today, so need to keep this short. Need to get a plant today for a friends sister in law who lost her husband a couple weeks ago. I tried to get a local florist and even Flowers.com but neither would deliver that far out in the country!

Somebody opened up a cool little gnome themed plant store beside our German restaurant downtown, so will find something there. Hope everyone has a great Thursday.

He probably had to sit there until he squeezed out a giant dump so that he could fly again. I would like to have seen that. Reminds me of my misbehaviour at Thanksgiving about 20 years ago. I have not over eaten like that since.
