Someone beat me to it, but ...

Patricia51 wins a tight contest as most influential writer, because of To Serve and Protect and Bridget's Nights, and because she has been so nice to me -- she has allowed me to write for her characters and also encouraged me to write more on my own. Runners-up are Patricia's friend and frequent writing partner linda_s, and editor LadyCibelle, whom I nominated in the Most Influential Poets section. But I wouldn't have found either of them if I hadn't found Patricia first.

I nominate Colleen Thomas. She's a wonderfully versatile and imaginitive writer who is always ready to help out a fellow author.

Colleen Thomas.
Her work never fails to amaze, always something new without losing the underlying talent to draw the reader in and leave them gasping. Her personal humility and unstinting support of other writers, newbies and experienced, makes her without doubt the most influential writer on Lit today.

Lauren Hynde

She does not write nearly enough stories, but each and every one that she writes: the language, the composition, the vividness of her descriptions, her research, the way she can satirize a genre (Plastic Love - mind control) and the damn hot sex (Olympic story - Sailing) all inspires me.

She is a definate example of an author unafraid of transcending the boundries of both literary convention and genre.

Truly amazing.

I don't know if she writes them but I like Dawn-I think shes really hot and look forward to her stoires.

As Caron is already nominated, I would like to nominate badgirl_23. She really did change the way I write.

Having read a lot of stories on this site, I think that there are some really good writers here. There are a few writers that I think are great, those being the ones that as soon as you see that they have posted a new story or added a chapter to an existing one, it has brightened your day.

The writer that has brightened my day the most is clearly Brightlyiburn.

Dr. Mabeuse. His stories influence me to the point where I sometimes need supplemental oxygen.

most influential writer

most influential writer, with out a doubt Amanda Williams aka mandywilluk2000, She has touched my soul and I am under her spell.

Well, much appreciated but she doesn't write stories(she does audios) and shouldn't be considered-still we appreciate the thought-thanks:)

Velvetpie wins hands down! She has shown that she is a real writer by not just sticking to one category, but by publishing great stories in other categories as well.

How many other authors that have been nominatted can say that???

Patricia51

I would like to nominate Patricia51 for most influential Writer, she has peers on this site but no superiors.

M'Lady

I vote for Patricia51

She is well versed in her trade and she can write too.

I Nominate Patricia51

Patricia51

For a friend I would even nominate you. --- Patricia51 for most influential writer.

Love ya keep up the work.

The Dragon's Keeper

Colleen Thomas..... not only is she a marvelous writer but she's a wonderful person and so sexy that if I thought she'd have me I'd run off from my husband today! (Not really Colly....DON'T panic!)

Most Influential author

Now I have a dilemma. Of course, my inclination is to nominate patricia51. She has greatly influenced not only myself, but numerous other authors with her thought provoking open ended stories allowing for expansion. She also seflessly gives permisson, at times to significantly less talented writers, to expand on her themes and characters.
The conundrum comes in that she directed me to reread Colleen Thomas. And now the feckless woman does the worst thing and actually makes that nomination.
I am sure if I tossed a coin in the air it would land edgewise. Therefore, I nominate, without reservation

PATRICIA51

Since I have over 100 posts, I must be inelgible to nominate either patricia51 or brightlyiburn.

That being the case, I'll second shereads nomination of Dr. Mabeuse. His advice on the Author's Hangout, the help he gives new writers on the Story Feedback forum, and the first-rate critiques he writes on the Story Discussion Circle place the good doctor in a class by himself when it comes to influencing other writers.

Doormouse, I think Dr. Maebeuse is a much better choice, but thanks for the nod.

I would like to nominate neonurotic

His Immortal Sin series is not only erotically charged, but original as well. His Red Sky Falling series is very promising and I thoroughly enjoyed Faceless. He writes erotica, but with a plot, so he always ends up writing intelligent stories that I always look forward to reading.

Needless to say, I think he's a very talented writer, and his story ideas constantly amaze me. :rose:
