Someone who loves me calls me his rainbow splendor lady. I love Annaswirls like that, sort of, She is a rainbow, in a million ways , and her sometimes fractured light is the most brilliant of all.

I nominate Annaswirls :)

I must vote for a Complete Asshole & Idiot!

While I believe his writings are error ridden and pure "CRAP", almost in entirety. I must admit that he has a very large following of Literotica posters, most of whom can write rings around him, left handed and with a fat, blunt crayon!

Although he is on my "Ignore List", I am forced to vote for "My Erotic Tale/Tail/Trail" as the "Most" influential poster under the rubric of "Literotica poet" He cannot spell/punctuate/write and is a complete biased/bigoted idiot, but unfortunately he has had more influence than anyone else in this category in the past year."

It is a shame to see Literotica sink so low. :(

Easy, Reltne. Is this the place for mudslinging?

Either way, and whether the erotic tail was a positive or negative force, I think you overestimate his impact. This is about the most influental poet, is it not? Not about the most influental forum flamewar starter or community politician.

Judged on merits in poetry writing and poetry work on the boards, my nomination and vote clearly belongs to 1201.

I nominate Tristesse.

I also agree with neonurotic and My Erotic Tale.

Consistently good work throughout the year.

I'll second the nomination for Tristesse! :nana:

For All

the interaction with others and being available to the folks who don't belong to the pac...and just writes poetry for enjoyment for himself and provides humor and support for every poet who needs his warmth.....MyEroticTale...

I nominate Pat Carrington.....wonderful writing, supportive and sensitive criticism, and consistent involvement in trying to further poetry and the poet's site.

:nana:

There are so many poets who've given me encouragement and are worthy. But I'm going to nominate a relatively new poet whose support and feedback has been invaluable and who is a great asset to Literotica. Give it up for:

TheRainMan

!!

Pat Carrington for invariably well thought out comment at all times and especially for the "Not for the thin skinned "thread.

Anna Swirls, Tristesse, Maria & bogusbrig have all done great things but Angeline and Wicked Eve are probably too nice to be truly influential, more super encouraging. 1201 for being inspirational and irritating ,often simultaneously :)

I nominate Wicked Eve
Though perhaps because I've pulled my poems ( among other things) I may be persona non gratis blah blah fuckin blah

her work is always honest, provocative, and changing.
I never know what to expect when I click on her submissions and, with very few exceptions, I am always delighted and thrown into a reflective state of mind.

I also think her " southern" series was some of the best writing I've ever seen in that genre.

it evoked the same feelings i get reading Capote and Cather ( I'd say falkner also but he's an incomprehensible bastard)

So...
Evey for me
Hoo-rah

My forehead has healed from charging forward last year with PatCarrington's name and crashing into the requirement that the poet have work up on the submission side as well as the forum.

So, I'll do it again.

P a t C a r r i n g t o n !

There are lots of worthy folks re: this award.

But Im going with Angeline, for her insight, tone and wonderful poetics.

T, anyone can nominate whoever they please, even those who the nomination is their very first post. I am not sure about having to have poems up to get into the final round, last year Tara got pulled, ruckus ruckus, Hopefully the rules have changed, because Pat certainly has brought much to this forum. I did not nominate him because I thought I couldn't  Flyguy, too. Damn it boys just post a poem for the hell of it just in case!

he's got some people livin inside his head

I prefer to say i got a demon inside o me

how poetic

Wicked Eve

Wicked Eve is my nomination.

I do not write poetry but read a lot of it here and the comments as well. She is particularly good at making useful comments for the less experienced writers. Generally she homes in on the most important weak point with unnerring accuracy but adds some words of encouragement as well. Sometimes these poems have a lot of faults but Eve is wise enough to usually correct only one at a time. She clearly knows the fragile ego of the less experienced!

An older man told me years ago that all women to some extent were either "ass or class" Without detracting from the former in any way, in my opinion Wicked Eve is a very classy lady.

Can't we all Just agree to DISAGREE!! POLITELY!! LOL :)
Well now there's two people that have been slung on... here it's My Erotic Tale in on of the others... It's me! LOL

OH, MY we are such grown-ups aren't we!
and in we I am including myself and every other person on these nomination threads! LOL ;)

I would like to nominate Angeline...

For consistenly offering poems from the heart, few can copy her rather complicated style. Bluerains is probably a close second, I marvel at her natural ability to create lovely nature scenes, akin to delicate watercolors.

So just to make sure- change my nomination from Pat carrington to TheRainMan.

and good luck to both of you! :D
