The Battle of Good Vs. Evil...

Lucifer

(Gabriel...does that mean he wants out? And if you didn't know that demons, unless the devil herself, can't kill you....just injure you badly. You can rejenerate....)

Lucifer:

I stared wide eyed at them. What on earth?

A tear ran down my cheek as he handed me the trumpet. Everything was going wrong. I was in a daze. Micheal led me with him.

Suddenly I stopped. I screamed NO!

I ran back. Some of the devils still moving with my passing. Some sneered and drew their swords. My strength was still there, I pushed them out of the way. There, upon the dew laden grass layed the gorgeous Gabriel. I put my hand to his chest. His soul was leaving.

I felt someone put a sword to the back of my neck as I was hunched over Gabriel. I growled. My anger fierce. I hadn't felt THIS anger since...since...before Iwas given my powers...I slowly got up.

"I order you to remove that." I said.

"Oh higness, you can do that yourself..." He replied.

I still had something. I knew I had to have something. I was still an angel. "By all that is in heaven or hell. I order you."

Gently taking my hand to my breast, the sacred dagger stayed there. I pulled it out, and lunged it backwards, piercing whoever was there.

I turned to see Micheal.

I looked down to Gabriel. "I...He shouldn't have...I can't help..."

I knelt down next to Gabriel. Laying my body across his, I couldn't remember all of the words to the life giving chant. I hadn't used it in so long.

(I can't go on till I know if you want to live...Gabriel...)

Rolando Gilliad, Fallen One

*he watched it...So long did he watch it, His eyes soft, leaning heavily on the ashen staff, wondering what had happeened, the energy and the sadness all were centered upon that one being....Lucifer...*

*how could it be?? had she risen from hell as he had fallen from heaven??? He didnt know, all he knew was all around there was a threat, quickly he walked towards them, he would not interfere unless asked to, such was his place as the healer of souls and of bodys...But again he held the magicks he would need to defend those he tended to or wished to heal...He watched them as he ascended whatever they were on, all creatures parting for him, For he was of the fallen, and many belived them to be not evil nor good, But Wrong. And therefore should be avoided at all costs*

*He watched the scene unfolded before him, his hands holding the staff wearily, as if a great many years laid on him, Which in a sense, they did. but alas, little could be done about that, his eyes were shaded slightly, as he watches them, wondering if his presance would be acknowledged or not*

Gabriel

OOC: Um, well... since you didn't take the escape, it would be kind of pointless for Gabriel to die now. I wasn't planning on leaving the thread, but I thought it would have been a nice exit for the horn tootler. As things stand now, we'll let you save the poor guy. Thanks! (I did not know we couldn't be killed. Ooops!)

Neale...

(ooc. you may exit with him, and bring in a new char...or whatever....)

Michael reached down to Lucifer and pulled her up to him. Tears in his eyes took their course, Gabriel was such a good friend.
"It's in God's hands now," he said quietly, the air around him stiffening and becoming shrugged. All his life he had said that, made everything augment through him because it was in God's hands. Even his best friend, fallen for his enemy was in God's hands.
"We can not let this death be for none," he took Lucifer's hand in his," We have much to discuss, please, if you valued Gabriel's life as much as I did you will do me this small favor."
Never in his life had he wanted to talk to her so badly.

Rolando De Gilliad

(can I Save Him? please?? Just asking first before ye tell me off for trying! *LOL*)

Lucifer

(ooc. Rolland that would be a good touch, save him, and if he wants to bring in a different character, Gabriel can always go back to heaven for some reason. But , save him, and we won't know about him...being alive....good touch rolland....and yeah, me and my double ll's)

I looked at him, "I'm so so sorry."

I wanted to tell him, I could give up my soul for his. I wanted to save him, I wanted to kill all the humans. DAMN THEM. NONE of this would ever have happened.

I looked around. "I am yours, I do whatever you need me to."

I meant it, I felt as if I owed him my life. SO that, is what I would give him.

I still knew the toungue of the ancients, I had my excellent use in weaponry, who wouldn't after watching centuries of battles, I still had powers, just not over anything of darkness. At least, that is what I thought. I couldn't control my men.

We began walking, I heard the devils talking of someone leading them. I looked to Micheal.

"Tell me what I must do."

Michael looked back at the armies that had once belonged to Lucifer. They still had their ferocity, their evilness, and their skills in just about everything, but no leader. Their only leader in life now was Lucifer's own words ringing in their dull witted ears.
A shiver passed through him as he tried to guess what thoughts came from her on those cold nights alone. He looked at her now, the poor thing, she had been alone for so long... too long.
He hugged her, and kissed her gently on the forehead, "Please help us. These demons will nver stop until your final vengeance has been reached. If we team up together, we can help justify Gabriel's death (or lack thereof)."
It all lied within her, he knew that she alone had the key to defeated her own minions. If only he could help her know the true path.
God, he loved her so much.

Rolando De Gilliad

*he knelt down by gabrielle, And lifted his head* Awaken horn blower..*Whispered horsely, as gabrielle looked into his eyes with fear and muttered* Fallen one...*Rolando Took the ashen staff and slowly Symbolized above him, a small Star, As the seconds passed the star glew brighter, and began to dust tiny bits of healing energy onto him, slowly healing the wounds, his eyes glowed a soft gold, as finally the wound was totally gone, he stood, leaning heavily on the ashen staff* Thy path is thine to choose...I cannot choose it for thee...*his eyes were a soft silver, most of his face hidden, his voice almsot all too sweet and genteel* Thyne friends have gone, thinking thee dead. Thou Livst again, By the hands of the Fallen. Nay forget it childe, For some day I may call upon thee...*eyes raise a bit* Tell me thine name angel.....So that I may know it for mineself.

Lucifer

I looked at Gabriel. The fire on my wings wouldn't come to me. Nor would my staff ignite. I was frustrated. Having the powers was like a second nature, you didn't even need to think about them. "There has to be someone who is loyal...after all these years..." I said softly.

I wondered where the Tarasque was. He told me I could call on him, but...if he decided to betray me...I may also find the fate of Gabriel.

I stared at all the devils. "Stand back. Do not help me, I have to do this myself."

I had a few spells that Micheal had, mine, were still gone wrong. They were evil spells.

I drew my sword. "Get yourselves back, I may not be your leader, but I still can send you back to torment."

A few backed off a brave one stepped out and found himself impaled on my sword. He disappeared.

Micheal looked at me, I knew he didn't mean I should fight them all. But I hadn't had faith in myself in so long. I didn't even know where to find it.

"Micheal," I shouted, "I have the assistance of a dark one named Tarasque, and all his army. " I was really unsure, I was getting angry. I hadn't been angry this often...in eons.

"we need to find who else is loyal to me."

Lightening hit the ground in front of me, the sky rumbled. God wasn't too happy

(I dunno what direction to go with this.

Ooc: It seems like this happens all the time, we go on strong for a while, but then have no clue where to take it from there. Damnit.

Michael looked worried. He wasn't sure they should be gallanting about the countryside looking for people loyal to her. He understood that pure evil was no longer in her heart, but still.... bad always attracted bad.
He had heard of Tarrasque's. They were extremely big and brutal creatures. They stopped at nothing.
If they could harness the power of one, it would be very benefitual, but if they couldn't, then they would be lost as well.
Michael took Lucifer's hand in his own and squeezed gently.
"We will find this monster if you see it as an advantage, but first we must go back and bring forth my own army. My angels have been rearing to fight for some time now, and I believe that this is the perfect time for it."

ooc: OOOOOOH! I'Ve GOt one!! *L* Everyone starts Rallying against roland or somthin!! *L* Scince he's a fallen one, the People who didnt like the Lucifer Michael thing would go to Rolando....*L* It's just a thought...

Gabriel

Still very weak from his attempt at conquering the entire cadre of evil by himself, Gabriel looks again at this unknown Fallen who has revived him. "Who are you? Where are Michael and Lucifer? Are they safe?" The archangel lays back, awaiting an answer...

ooc: Okay, Gabe is back in action, but I'm a bit confused as to where everyone is, and what is going on. Please forgive any confusion in my posts. Think we can assume Gabe's a bit off his game for a bit. ;)

The Killing Angel

Suddenly the demon camp is awash with noise. I listen carefully from the forest, and I realise with horror I can hear Gabriel's voice bellowing with rage above all. Taking flight, I weave my way between the trees and into the sky as fast as my wings can carry. A couple of guards scream at me as I cross the border into the camp, but I dispose of them with hastily thrown daggers.

Spotting Michael I swoop down to realise that he is standing with Lucifer by his side. Evidently developments have gone long past negotiation. She must have changed sides. I hear the Tarasque's name mentioned as an ally to Lucifer?

"Pardon me for butting in," I land behind Michael and Lucifer. "You say the Tarasque is loyal to you, but I have had many battles with him and I know that he is loyal to no one but himself. He only obeyed you because you were more powerful than he Lucifer. If you attempt to gain his support now he will probably strike you down with his own hands without a touch of remorse."

OOC: I havent heard from Morgoth (Tarasque) for ages so Belinda is kind of out of it as he was the one she was in the middle of speaking with.

If he comes back, he was saying Belinda reminded him of his dead wife and she might be able to talk him into helping Lucifer. But without Morgoth I am stuck.

OOC: Gasp, pant. I am back.

IC: "Even now, Belinda. Those angels try to turn those who were once my friends and such against me. But I will never let them take me. I have been to the Dark Flmaes, and these new wings empower me greatly. ah, the power of these wings", he sighed, suddenly getting distant and thinking of thoughts that no mind but his could percieve.

Belinda

I crossed my arms, steadied my breathing and plunged in. What I was about to say may get me killed but I never had been known for playing things safe.

"Is that what this is all about?," I said to him,"Power? Are you going to kill every human for power? If your wife was still here and you were ordered to kill us all, would she be included?"

My jaw was set and my eyes flashed as I pointed to the hill where Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel were. "Something is happening up on that hill and I have a feeling its not good at all. Instead of sitting here discussing your power and your new form, we need to think about ending this, one way or another. Now, what are you going to do? Where do your loyalties lie? Are you going to betray your wife totally by going against her people or are you going to make me believe you really loved her and help to end this with the human race intact?

Suddenly the Tarasque snapped back into reality. "You are right. I will never betray my wife", he said. He let out a roar and changed into his warrior form. He took to the air and smiled down to Belinda. "Well, are you coming, or do I have to go it alone?" he asked gently. He meant absolutely no offense with that remark. He withdrew his sword from his sheath. He sighed. He was no longer even slightly excited at the prospect of battle.

Belinda

Belinda sighed. "About time," She muttered as she began to run towards the hill. The Tarasque could fly much faster than she could run but she was going to try her best to get there before it was all over.

She wasnt particularly fond of trusting this winged being but she did not see that she had much choice in the matter and he had kept his word up to now.

The Tarasque went into a dive and flew by Belinda for a while. "You know, it would be much easier if I carried you. It would also be much quicker", he said to her.

Belinda

I stopped and looked up at him. I hated to admit it but he was right. Lifting my arms to him, I grudgingly said,"Your right. Lets get going. I dont like the looks of what is happening."

"I didn't mean like that. It's not like I am trying to bed you", laughed the Tarasque. One of his "feathers" reached out and encircled Belinda's waist and lifted her off the ground. Then, the Tarasque shot off towards the demons. They arrived there a little while later. The Tarasque growled on instinct when he saw that Lucifer, Gabriel, the Killing Angel, and a few others were clustered together. He set down Belinda, and stood tensed up.

Belinda

I blushed a little at his statement but, before I could think much about it, I found myself lifted up and speeding toward the hills. Oh, I really did hate heights.

When he sat me down, I gulped. A few angels were set against all the demons of hell. This did not look promising. I was puzzled that Lucifer seemed to be standing with the angels from the human camp and that the demons seemed to be as intent on attacking her as they did the others.

"Ohhh, this is not good," I said to Tarasque as I unconsciously edged closer to him. For the first time in my life I knew the meaning of true terror.

The Tarasque drew his sword slowly, looking from the demons to the angels, then back. When he had the blade in his hand, a shield and his armor magically appeared. He conjured some up for Belinda too. She was now wearing full Gothic armor and had a large Kite shield and a Dimensional blade. The Tarasque lifted his Executioner's sword warily. He finally noticed her edging closer to him, and inwardly smiled.

Belinda

I looked at the armor and sword. Armor was good. I could definately use armor but I had no idea how to use a sword. My father, although proficent himself refused to let me be trained no matter how hard I bugged him.

"Thanks," I said to him,"But I would probably cut my own head off with this before I got to any of them."

Instead I put down my sword and reveiwed what Toral had told me about the power I had inside. Remembering the white light that had surrounded Tarasque I said,"If I have to bind them with that light would it give you time to do some damage? I mean I hope this gets settled easier than that but if it came down to it, do you think it would work?"
