The Battle of Good Vs. Evil

Eve

She woke up when he stretched, but didn't move at first. Slowly she lifted her head and looked up at him. Smiling softly, she mumbled something, then cleared her throat trying once again.
"We should get up and go see to the human's. Check the grounds for intruders that sort of thing?" She cuddled close, not really wanting to leave their little haven. But they were both here to do a job. They couldnt sit around forever, even as much as she wished they could.
Sighing, she got up and sat on the edge of the bed. Looking around for her clothing. Laughing a little as her dissarray, and the fact her clothing was at both ends of the small room. she turned back to him, leaned down and kissed him softly.
"Shall we make an appearance and check everything?"

 

[Guest]

Cristian

He moved to the edge of the bed and sat up then let out a groan. He really didn't want to leave her and this room but he knew that would be selfish and he couldn't do that. The humans meant more than that, they deserved more than that. He looked down and saw his shirt laying down between his feet and picked it up.

As he put it on he said, "Yeah. I guess we should do that. We do have an obligation to the humans here as we promised to protect them. Much as it pains me to leave this room and you I know that we must."

He looked around the room for his pants and was shocked to see them right next to Eve's. He stood and walked over to where they lay and picked up Eve's as well then walked over to the bed and handed them to her.

Eve

She smiled and covered her mouth almost laughing. Their clothing was everywhere, looking like a wild fling just took place. She smiled as he handed her her pants, "Thank you, love" She smiled and pulled them on, standing up to pull them all the way up. She stood there a moment, her eyes shining brightly with love. "We will get to come back here soon, even if we both dont wish to leave... We'll be back soon." She leaned down and kissed him once more.
Once she had her clothes back on, she put on her shoes and stretched. She watched him as he dressed, loving the sight of him. Just them in the room, she was tempted to forget the rest of the world. She flinched, her boss would get after her for those thoughts. She wasn't allowed to be selfish, it just wasnt done. Angels had a purpose to serve and that wasnt themselves.
She held out her hand to him, "Shall we, Love?"

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He looked at her with a slight grin and knew that it was out of place in this room but he had to do it anyway. He didn't want to leave this room, but he knew they had to serve the humans. That was their one calling in life and he knew in the depths of his soul that is what he would do.

He had failed in doing that once and he knew he had helped in what Lucifer was doing now. That was something he could never forgive himself for but he knew that if he helped the people in this school it would be a first step.

He walked over to where Eve stood and looked at her, again falling into her eyes and said, "We will be back here my love. We will have all eternity together. But we have to guard the humans in this school and much as it pains me to be without you I know that I have to. I have to go outside and see if anything out there is amiss."

With those words still hanging in the air Cristian moved towards Eve quickly and took her into his arms then kissed her deep and long.

Eve

She nodded in agreement, "I'll go and check on the wounded hun and you handle outside.. sounds good to me" She smiled. Without warning he came up and kissed her deeply, and passionately. She melted into his arms, and kissed him back with the same feelings. They broke apart after a few minutes, her panting loud to her ears. "oh my!" She smiled with a wicked little grin, "Later, I will have to return that later." She smiled, but couldnt bring herself to step away from him. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a quick hug.
He opened the door for her, and escorted her out. She walked with him to the stairs, and once more kissed him. "Until later." Her words had a hidden meaning behind them and a promising smile. She turned to go and check on those just down the hall a little. Perhaps there was no more injured pouring in? She hadn't been sought out, so that was a good sign.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He looked back with a sigh to see that Eve had gone to check on the people then turned and walked to the main doors of the school. As soon as he opened the doors he saw that it was indeed night. This was the perfect time for those things from Hell to attack this school as darkness was their friend, they could move around freely in it.

He closed the door behind him and laid a protective spell around it then walked out into the night. He looked left then right and realized he couldn't see a thing. Cristian smiled and opened one hand in front of him, a glowing white ball appearing in it. The ball began to light the area around him then floated up to his shoulder.

As soon as he was satisfied with the light the ball was giving he began to walk to one corner of the school, wondering if he would find anything.

Eve

She first checked on Mureen and Sara. Both were sleeping soundly. Mureen looked tired, deep dark circles under her eyes. Eve felt terrible for this, and touched the woman. Slowly she healed Mureen, making her feel not so tired, and haggled. She moved along. Mostly there was just snoring and coughs. Everything was fine down here. She checked around downstairs. Not sensing any danger, she headed up. She would go help Cristian patrol outside, he might run into something since it was dark out.
She exited the building and looked around. Senturies were posted here and there. But no sign of Cristian. She shrugged and walked around the side of the building. She also made a sphere to see by, But she ended up going the opposit way Cristian and gone. Walking along she slowly moved. Keeping her senses open for any impending danger.
She felt cold out here, and a little worried. But she knew she would be alright. There was men posted all around the school with guns and ammo to boot. She would be ok. She crept along, checking bushes and trees.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He walked along slowly, listening to every sound out in the open and wondering if anything was out there when he heard a gunshot ring out. He wondered what was going on when he heard a shout a second later and he knew what was happening; the school was under attack again.

Cristian ran in the direction that the gunshot had come from and as he ran he felt a warm emanating from his right hand and looked down at it to see a handle slowly appearing. He knew that he had no time to wonder what was going on and ran even faster.

When he got to the area he was shocked to see several demons moving quickly towards a lone human who was shooting at them. Cristian knew that this human was doomed if he didn't help and let out a shout, causing the demons to look at him. Suddenly there was a blinding white flash from his left hand and Cristian brought it up to see a sword in his hand.

What in God's name is this! What has happened to me! he thought before he ran at the demons. The demons, seeing that he was the greater threat ran at him, their high pitched shriek flying through the air.

One of the demons lunged at Cristian but with a twisting move he easily moved out of the way and cut into the demon which screamed out.

Eve

She heard the shot and the shout ring out in the night. She yelled to David, the closest guy to her, "hurry up! Come with me!" She ran as fast as she could around the back. She halted and nearly fell down, Cristian was weilding a bright blinding white sword, slashing one demon in half and moving to the next one. David raised his gun to fire and Eve lept in his path.
"Dont shoot! You might hit Cristian!" She turned around and moved forward, she yelled back at david. "Stay back!" She came forward, "Cristian I am here if needed!" She didnt have any weapons on her, and was afriad to fire any kind of power at them for fear of hitting him with it.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He heard Eve call out to him but he knew that he couldn't look at her without being killed. Before he knew it a demon jumped out from the night at her but Cristian moved with a grace he had never known before and the sword in his hand sliced through the demon's shoulder, its arm falling to the ground.

Cristian then moved towards the next demon and the sword led him as he cut into its abdomen, making it scream out in pain.

As he fought the demons Cristian didn't know what was happening to him. He had never had these skills before- he had never been able to bring forth a sword before. He had seen other angels do it but he wasn't one of them.

He knew his thoughts were lapsing and as he brought them back a demon jumped at him but before it could hit him a blast of energy hit it in the side, causing it to fly into the night.

Eve

She saw a demon launch himself at Cristian. She didnt hesitate, she fired a ball of light into the demona's side. Knocking him to the ground she watched as Cristian slashed it in half. She was amazed at his skills? She knew him, inside and out. Past and present. he had never done this before? But now he was? She was awed by it. The sword itself was like magic, alive with an energy she could feel from way back where she was. She called out a warning to Cristian as another demon sprang from the darkness, "Cristian! behind you!"

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He heard the shout from Eve and turned on his heels just as the demon came into the light. Before it knew what was happening Cristian cut forward with the sword and there was a burning smell as it cut through the demons abdomen.

The demon fell to the ground with a great thud and Cristian turned when he heard the shriek from several demons. He didn't want to kill them but he knew that if he didn't they would surely destroy the school and all the people in it. Suddenly several demons came out of the darkness and Cristian shouted out, "No!" before he ran at them, his sword an arc of light as he ran into the middle of the large group.

Eve

She moved forward as Cristian stepped into the middle of the group. She fired another light ball into the furthest demon from him. He swung around and around in a whirlwind type move. Slicing the bellies of three beasts at once, She fired one more into another demon before he could leap onto Cristian. She held back, He was facing two. And they were both to close to him for her to aid in this one. She came forward, barely ten feet from him, waiting. "Cristian, becareful!" She prayed silently, make his aim be true and leathal.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He turned to the two demons and said, "You will not destroy this school."

He moved towards them and they began to back away. He moved forward again but before he knew what they were going to do they both jumped at him. Cristian brought up the sword and cut into one of the demons but the other slammed into him and as he fell to the ground the sword disappeared.

He looked up at the demon as it looked down at him and smiled, its drool dripping down onto him. Cristian looked up at the demon and smiled before he sent his fist slamming into the side of its head. The demon's head was rocked back by the fist but it looked down at Cristian again as he sent his foot into its stomach, sending it flying over him and onto the ground.

Eve

She backed up a few steps as Cristian tossed the beast over his head and to the ground. her breath held momentarily, wondering what would happen next. Her eyes stayed on the dark woods beyond for more coming, but kept jerking back to Cristian now and then to make sure he was ok.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He slowly got to his feet and as soon as he did the sword appeared in his hand. He looked at it and then at the demon who was slowly getting to its feet. He moved forward and said, "I do not want to kill you but I will not let you injure the people in that school."

The demon looked at him and Cristian thought that it was going to leave but before he knew what was happening it jumped at him and Cristian had just enough time to bring up the sword. The demon screamed out as it was impaled on the pure white blade of the sword and Cristian looked at it in shock.

He pointed the sword down and watched in shock as the demon slid down to the ground then he turned and looked at Eve. She looked beautiful but yet worried and he walked to her. He opened his mouth to say something but before he could he heard numerous shrieks come from the darkness.

He looked at Eve and said, "Get inside now. I don't want you to get hurt. I will hold them off but if I am killed then you are the only one that can hold those demons off.... now go. Get inside."

Eve

She almost turned to go, run away and hide. But she stopped short.
"No."
He turned, his eyes questioning her.
"I'm sorry Love, I can not, No. Will not! leave you to defend against them all, and alone. I will remain here by your side and aid in any and all ways possible! I wont leave you to die alone, Even if you had me dragged off! I remain here,where I belong. By your side." She stood firm, her hands on her hips. Daring him to not allowe her this right. She would not leave him alone, no matter the odds.
She called to David. "Get the men! Now. call them here! Bring all weapons with them. Go now!"
David turned around and blew three short blasts on his whistled he carried.
"Here by your side Love, forever.. Lets kick some demon ass, shall we?" She smiled, it did not reach her eyes for she was very worried at the moment. But she was brave, an Amazon Priestess did not run from danger. She greeted it head on. Granted she was out of practice, but she was able and willing.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He looked at her and smiled, knowing exactly why he loved her. She did what she wanted to do and he knew that there was no way he could send her back into the school. He looked at her and then leaned forward, kissing her softly on the lips then said, "Yes, lets kick some demon butt."

He turned to the men who had just run up and said, "Don't let any of those demons near this place."

He then turned back to the dark and heard the movement of the demons as they got closer. He looked at it before he gave a shout and ran straight into the darkness- determined to kill every last demon.

Eve

She giggled, "Sorry Love. Demon butt. Old ways are coming back to me I guess." She kissed him back soundly. Her eyes mirroring her love for him. No matter what happened, She would always love him.
She let out an Amazonian war cry and raced into the woods. Her power ball building as she went. She didnt hesitate once. As she ran she fired one after the other. Slicing where ever the orb passed through. The human's behind her ran along, firing there semi automatic guns at the approaching demons.
She never lost sight of Cristian, always sticking near him. Just incase anything happened to him or her and needed help. She grabbed a sword from a fallen demon and swung it over her head and down her right side. Taking a battle stance. It was coming back, her life before she died. She swung, left and right. Up and down. Thrusting forward into a demon, right threw the eye. Grey brain matter stuck to the blade she didnt stop to wipe it. merely cut another in half as it launched itself at her.
She fell to her back a few times, being knocked down, but the humans or Cristian was there to kill whatever was ontop of her. She was wearing out a little. her hands hurting. No longer caloused from use. She dropped the sword and fired more power balls at the encroaching beasts.
"Dont let any pass!" She called out to the men beside her. She saw David fall, and felt a tear slide down her cheek. Hoping he would be alright, she worked her way over. Slamming each demon she came across with a force powerful enough to make them disinagrate into nothing.
She reached David's side, standing over him she guarded him well.
"Are you alright?!" She glanced down and back up.
"Yes! Get going before you get cornered its just a flesh wound!" His voice was scared but determined.
"Alright, get your butt to the school and get medical aid!"
He got up and retreated, stepping over dead bodies of the demons here and there.
Eve kept her eyes on everyone. But Cristian was gaining distance from her. She quickly got back within ten feet of him. Making sure his back was protected.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He moved through the demons with a fluid grace, cutting them down as if they were a field of wheat. The sword in his hand felt like it was now part of his arm, part of him and he didn't know why. He had never used a weapon before in his life but something inside him felt whole with the sword in his hand. He sliced through the demons quickly, not letting any of them get near him.

He knew that he was moving further away from Eve but he sent out a slight probe with his mind and found that she was alright. She was getting tired but she was still fighting hard, not letting any of the demons get past her. He knew that if she fought as hard as she was she would lose her energy quickly and he would be the only one to fight. He didn't want to lose her- he needed her to stay alive.

As he moved forward and cut through another demon he sent a thought to Eve, You need this more than I do my love. Use it well then sent a wave of energy to her. He knew that it would weaken him badly but he didn't want her to die. She couldn't die. She meant far too much to him.

Just then something snapped him out of his thoughts, a roar came out of the darkness and he looked to see a demon like the that had attacked Eve and himself in the basement of the school. He backed away, wondering if he would be able to destroy this demon.

Eve

She got the wave over her, and instantly she felt lifted. Heat washed over her body, slightly lifting her off of the ground and setting her gently back on her feet. Her whole being tingled to new life. She heard an evil roar in the darkness and saw another Slayer approaching Cristian. This one was as big as the last. He would never be able to face this one now! Not after sending her his energy. She called out, "HEY! You ugly egg sucking slimey toad! Over here!!!" She got his attention. She waved hi to the beast with a smile on her face. These demons seemed to have a weakness for females. As the other proved earlier. This one turned from Cristian and appraoched her. The other, lesser demons backing away. He approach was slow. He had four legs and two long skinny arms, but he was broad and tall. standing over 8 feet tall. His long grotesqu tongue hanging out of his face.
She made a face, but stood her ground. She stepped on the sword tip, not letting him see what she was up too. The sword flipped up and the hilt hit her hand. She quickly gripped the sword, and kept it behind her back. She gave the demon a "come hither" look. "Thats it big boy.. come here.. Come play with Eve.." She shivered a little, feeling its evil getting nearer to her. His eyes stayed on her, roaming her body. She could see its naked body becoming aroused, and felt sickened. These were the creatures that horror stories were made of back in the 4th century. How they would rape anything female until she died. Anything from animals to humans.
It got close enough for her to target the creature. She quickly spun around complete 180 degrees and flipped the sword at the beast. She watched as if in slow motion as the sword sped to its mark. Slicing deep into its body, but not creating a wound long enough to kill right away.
The demon roared with pain and hatred, Its eyes turning in the back of its head and righting itself once again. He sped towards her, there was not much of an escape route in sight. Thinking quickly she materialized her wings and spread them out. Shooting straight up into the air. She backed off out of reach of the beast and fired a huge orb into its head.
"Cristian! Its Brain! You must imbed your sword into its brain!!" It was the only way to kill this beast. She was sure of it. As they had done earlier. "Distracted him! Hurry please!" The demon was spreading out his wings, ready to take flight after her. She fired another ball and knocked him to the ground. Reaching down with his hand, he jerked out the sword she stabbed him with and hurled it away into the darkness. He legs tensed, ready to leap into the air.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He could see that this Slayer was after Eve and he wouldn't let it get her. He would rip the think apart before he would let that happen. He watched as it unfolded its wings and took to the sky after Eve. With a shout his wings appeared and he took to the sky, flying straight at the demon.

He didn't think he saw him coming but at the last moment it turned in the air and fired several energy balls at Cristian. It then turned to Eve and said in its guttural voice, "I will get you angel and I will rape you..... you will wish to be dead after I finish with you."

Cristian shouted out, "No!" and created a barrier around himself. The balls hit the barrier hard, sending him towards the ground. Cristian looked down and saw the ground coming up fast but seconds before he hit he flapped his wings hard and flew straight at the demon.

He gave a shout which caused the demon to turn and look at him seconds before he slammed into it. The demon grabbed him but the waist, causing Cristian to cry out in pain. He then looked at the demon and said, "You will never get a chance to rape an angel, especially that angel."

He pushed the sword upwards, straight into the demon's brain which caused it to scream out. Cristian pulled the sword out and felt the demon fall to the ground and began to pull himself out but found to his horror that he couldn't and that the ground was coming up fast.

Eve

She had to think fast! Cristian was falling! She quickly closed her eyes a second and summoned up the wind to help her. A huge gust of wind came out of no where and under the falling beast. Catching them and slowly lowering them to the ground. Eve dove straight after him. She barely landed before she win his arms, tugging him free of the demon's body.
"oh thank you God!" She kissed him and held him close. She heard the other demons retreating off, their cries getting fainter and fainter. "For now Love we are safe for now.. Lets get you inside." She leaned down and helped him to rise. He was tired, slaying that many beasts and saving her. She would be eternally grateful to him. She loved him so much, she felt awed by his strength and persevierance.

 

[Angelus]

Cristian

He felt Eve's arms around his waist but he also felt as though he was drained. He was glad that the school was safe and that Eve was safe. He had used more energy than he had before in saving the school and saving everyone here. He leaned against Eve and said, "Thank you my love but we must get inside before any more demons come. I don't think I have the energy to fight them off again. I have to rest."

The two of them walked slowly towards the school, each other them knowing that the threat to the school was over for now but knowing that it wasn't the end.

Eve

She got him into the school and back down the stairs. She seated him in the main room with all the other injured people. His sword still held in his hand now lightly glowed to life. She placed her hands on him to heal him, and felt another source doing that for her? She watched in bewilderment as the sword started a light blue color. Its hue beautiful, moving up his arm to finally encase all of Cristian before her. Where her hand touched him, the blue spread to her. It was amazing! Her eyes were wide in wonderment of this miricle. Where had this sword come from?
She knelt back a little and watched. His whole form was glowing with this blue hue, until finally it slowly faded away. She whispered, "Cristian? Are you ok?" Her breathing a little fast and heavy. That was simply amazing!
