Teagan laughed when Michael said what he said about Ken. She was the type who loved to be the center of attention, that couldn’t be missed not even by a blind man.
“That’s my Ken!” Teagan said shaking her head and grinning up at Michael, leaving it at that. He didn’t need know anything else, not now anyway. And most certainly, he didn’t need to know about their sexual relationship.
As Michael looked deeply into Teagan’s eyes, she was at first unsure as to their meaning. Was he studying her reaction to see if there was more to that kiss than showboating for the boys and him? Teagan study him closely as they danced trying to decode his look. Michael’s hands clasp tighter on her hips. With that, she knew. She knew it had nothing to do with Kennedy. It was an invitation, a private invitation just for her.
Teagan took a step closer to Michael and put her arms around his neck even thought the music didn’t call for slower intimate moves. Placing her head on his chest, she could feel his breath wash down on her as his arms wrapped around her. Teagan looked up at Michael, softly she kissed him. As the kiss grew, she fought over the right thing to do and what she wanted to do in her mind. She couldn’t help think how the rest of the cruise would be for her if she took him up on his offer and he cast her away in the morning. She thought about how if she didn’t accept she could be blowing her chance for something wonderful. She sighed into the kiss as her mind raced to make the right choice.
As the decision weighted on her, Teagan broke the kiss. Not knowing what to do, she looked back up at Michael, “I think I need a drink.” she said.
