The Boss' Plaything (Closed)

"Yes Amanda, I mean move in. Not just for tonight. It'll be easier for me to summon you on short notice and if there's a lull during the day you can retire and kick back for a little while."

He let that litle gem sink in before he continued:

"Now, about that client... He is an old and lonesome man, thirsting for female attention. If you put on a seductive little smile and a warm gaze his way, he'll agree to almost anything I propose. Let me see you seduce someone. Big smile, no teeth, you want to appear mysterious before him. Warm eyes, look at him, look away. You don't want to appear too aggressive. Bite lightly on one of your fingers while looking at him, that's suggestive in more ways than you can count. Give me your best shot... NOW!"

He wanted to test her potential.

A flat of her own... In her fitst year of university, Amanda had gone from her parents' home to a room in halls. The idea of an entire flat to herself, no room-mates, no parents... Real independence, and this an executive appartment in the middle of the city... It sounded like a dream come true. Her excitement was rising quietly within her as she listened to Mr. Brooks' 'briefing'. While she did she was silent.

Then, after a moment, Amanda cocked her head to the side and smiled, first the corners of her lips turning upwards subtly and then the dimples in her cheeks appearing. Her hand lifted up to her throat, "Well I'll have to think about your proposal, sir..." she said, measuring her voice to slow it down and make it more playful. She stroked a fingertip under her chin and then along her lips. As she did she looked up thoughfully and then brought her eyes down yo meet his as she bit down softly on the end of her thumb, "It is VERY tempting, but I do have to at least ask my father. I do try to be a good girl." she said, finishing with a brief flutter of her eyelashes.

He watched her blossom before his eyes. With some coaching and training she could be a first class courtesan. Her playful demeanor told him he was miles away from crossing her limits. Good.

"If your daddy objects, tell him it's your first stepping stone on the road to independence. You only owe him obedience as long as you live under his roof and under your parents rules. And besides" he added, giving her a conspiratorial wink and nudge "I know it'll feel good to oppose him if he objects. I've been 18 too, you know." He smiled, knowingly.

"I am willing to let you stay in the apartment as long as you work for me. That means I'll have to lay claims on your time while you're at the University, I'm afraid. You'll be compensated, of course. And I'll try to keep it to evenings and weekends. But you'll be living downtown and you'll be paid for your work. This is a pretty sweet deal I'm offering you, Amanda. I want you to think it over, of course. Wouldn't have it any other way. Tell you what, go home and change then meet me at the restaurant. You can test the apartment tonight and make up your mind tomorrow. Deal?"

He looked at her expectantly. If this didn't convince her...

Amanda smiled and laughed along as Mr Brooks nudged her, although she did not confirm or deny the existence of any rebellious streak. She also noticed the teasing way he referred to her 'daddy', but tried not to show that she had. Inwardly her self-conscious, paranoid side wondered whether he really was contemptuous of her insistence on asking her father. When he had finished laying out his offer she pretended to think about it for a moment. Then she gave him another subtle smile and extended her hand to him. "You have a deal, sir." she replied.

"I suppose that I had better go and slip into something more comfortable." she said and turned to leave.

Once at home Amanda took her time getting ready. She picked out a strapless bra that pushed and lifted her breasts and the black garter belt she had bought on her shopping trip. Just the feeling of wearing something so sensuous would add to her confidence and build the right mood to play her role to the full. She slid the stockings up her long slender legs and smoothed the skirt down over her bare thighs before examining herself in the mirror. Her makeup was applied with great care to create a subtle, elegant and natural look. Her auburn hair she let cascade down to her shoulders.

As her taxi waited outside, she wrote a note for her parents. Then she spent the ride into town reading up the notes she had managed to pull out on the person they were going to meet. Less than an hour later she stood outside the door of the upmarket restaurant. Just yeatetday she never would have dreamed of venturing inside. She drew in a breath to steel herself, the climbed the steps into the plush foyer...

Heads turned as she entered the restaurant. She seemed positively radiant, her skin almost glowing, her hair cascading luxuriously about her neck and shoulders, her dress teasingly elegant. She was a vision of youthful beauty and elegance in full blossom. He felt immensely proud to be able to walk over to her and greet her. He felt the envious stares on him as he did so.

"Amanda! You look absolutely stunning!"

He grasped her bare shoulders, relishing her smooth soft skin as he leaned in and gave her two short pecks, one on each cheek. He didn't relinquish his hold on her shoulders as he looked her over again, enjoying her little flush and her downcast eyes. Shyness, no doubt.

"I think you're ready to wow Mr. Woodward, Amanda. I really do. You'll be seated next to me. I will be tapping you when I need you to distract him. He'll be helpless, I tell you."

He gave her a reassuring smile. "This might seem like foul play. But as I said before, all is fair when brokering deals. Shall we?"

He let go of her soft shoulders, brushing a lock of her silken hair as he did so. He offered her his arm so he could escort her into their reserved and secluded table where Mr. Woodward already sat waiting.

"Any questions, Amanda?"

Amanda felt like an intruder as she walked into the restaurant, and was waiting at any moment to be asked to leave. She saw several people turn to look at her and felt like bolting and running. It was a relief when she saw Mr Brooks striding towards her with his big, effusive smile. He kissed her on each cheek, and she felt a wave of embarrassment. It took a moment to master herself. She nodded and listened to his instructions.

"...Shall we?"

He offered her his arm, like a perfect gentleman and she smiled back at him with a twinkle in her eye. "I look forward to playing with a master" she replied as she looped her arm through his.

"Any questions, Amanda?"
"Do I get to order the lobster?" she replied with a mischievous smile, and inwardly she marvelled that she dared make such a comment. There must be something about losing yourself in the moment.

When they arrived at the table she gave Mr. Woodward her warmest, brightest smile. She gave thought to every movement, just as she had been trained in her dance classes. She held her back upright, her shoulders back, yet kept her movements loose, fluid, and natural as she extended her hand to him. "You must be Mr. Woodward. I'm Amanda Reynolds, Mr Brooks' assistant. Its lovely to meet you."

Playing with a master, eh? he thought. If only you knew how right you are! Outwardly he smiled at her naively innocent comment. He laughed at her question about lobsters. "If you want to limit yourself to lobster, sure. But give the menu a chance before you settle on lobster, dear."

When they arrived at the private table, he couldn't help but notice Mr Woodward's jaw dropping. Her performance was picture perfect, the right shades of politeness, grace and sexiness. David's greeting was more perfunctory. They'd met before, they were basically here to haggle and Mr. Woodward couldn't take his eyes off Amanda. Perfect.

As they ordered, David recommended a five-course menu, ordering that for himself. Mr Woodward followed suit.

Then they started haggling. They were discussing the options of buying MR-machines, seriously expensive pieces of equipment. With the sales would follow a five-year option of repairs. Mr. Woodward insisted the machines were too expensive and that his staff could repair the machines themself, thank you very much. He wouldn't budge, so David gave Amanda her first nudge with his foot, letting it linger just a tad longer than necessary.

Amanda followed Mr Brooks to the table. As Mr Woodward came into view she consciously emphasised the roll of her lithe hips and walked towards him with long strides to cried out confidence and displayed her long shapely legs, shining in sheer stockings and heels. She greeted Mr Woodward with a bright warm smile and a warm handshake. "Mr Woodward. I am Amanda Reynolds, Mr Brooks' assistant. It is a real honour to meet you..." She let her hand linger in his as she spoke about him. "I read the article about your donation of vaccines to Haiti... Incredible..." all the while she looked up at him bright eyed.

They sat, and Amanda sat next to him and turned to face him as she leaned down to pull her notebook out of her bag, pretending not to notice how he stared down the front of her dress. As she opened it up and switched it on she crossed her legs towards him. The lacey hem of her dress rode an inch higher on her thigh. As they ordered she made a play of uncertainty (it helped that she really was unused to such refined fare). Lea ing across to him and turning her menu to Mr Woodward, Amanda's pushed-up cleavage was once again dipped into his eyeline as she said. "Its embarrassing, but I have no experience of this kind if thing... What do you think I should get?"

As they began to talk business, Amanda dutifully busied herself taking notes, pulling up fact and figures and making calculations as Mr Brooks required. In fact, she was concentrating so much on her official job that his udge took her by surprise. She jerked a little and knocked her glass of water. It tottered and then fell, spilling at the edge of the table and onto Mr Woodward. Luckily she had been sipping so, he was not soaked, but still his lower body and lap was splashed. "Oh no! I am so sorry!" she yelped. Her reaction and horror was genuine, and she plucked up her napkjn without thinking and started to mop it up. First the table... Then Mr Woodward. "Please let me... I'm so sorry... Oh how embarrassing!"

It wasnt until she was dabbing at his shirt and trousers that she realised what she was doing. She let her hand press into his thigh to soak the water up that she looked up at him. "I hope that your lovely suit isn't damaged?" she said. She read in his eyes that he wasnt displeased at all. In fact he had a fine view down her dress one again. Amanda left her hand on his lap for a moment as she waited for his forgiveness.

David had to smile. She really put Mr Woodward through the wringer. The way she showed off her cleavage and smiled all innocent-like put Mister Woodward off his game for a while. And when he nudged her, that glass of water was a masterstroke. He wondered whether it was an accident or by design, but the result was to die for.

She was all doe-eyed apologetic, showing off her beautiful figure and cleavage to Mr. Woodward while in the process of wiping off his suit. Then she wiped his crotch and Mr. Woodward became flustered to the extreme. He groaned openly, and David was grateful they sat in a semi-secluded enclosure. By the looks of him it looked like he'd just expended a load in his pants.

"That's- that's quite allright my dear! If you'll excuse me..." Mr Woodward hobbled off to the nearest bathroom, confirming David's suspicion. David laughed as soon as Mr Woodward was out of earshot. "Amanda, that was top notch!" If he doesn't COME around to our terms now, he never will!"

He wondered if Amanda understood what had just happened. She seemed so innocent.

Amanda sat back down and laughed. There was at least as much amazement as amusement in her laigh, and this time there eas no guile in it. "Oh my god! You dont think that was too obvious?" She watched the corner he had just disappeared behind anxiously. "He looked upset when he left. Do you think I made him angry?"

"No Amanda, I think you made him happier than he's been for quite some time."

He grasped her hand reassuringly and held it. "You did great just now, Amanda. If I get this deal the way I want it to, there will be a tidy sum coming your way. You my dear, are lethal!"

He still held her hand and gently stroked it with his thumb. "You see, I have it from good authority that Mr Woodward hasn't had, well, female company for years. Any sort of contact is liable to 'set him off' as it were."

After a few minutes, Mr Woodward appeared and David discretely let go of her soft and warm hand. As he sat down he seemed a lot less flustered and more composed. With many a glance at Amanda he stuttered "I- I think I can work out a deal beneficial for both of us. I accept to your terms if" he lowered his voice "if I can- can enjoy the company of your assistant in private!"

David watched him for a few seconds, then: "Are you suggesting that Amanda should... with you!?" David was the very picture of righteous fury. "If you for one moment think that I will give my personal assistant to you as a slab of meat just like that you have another thing coming. I'd rather lose a multi-million dollar deal than submit darling Amanda here to such treatment! Sure, she and I will lose some money from it, but she will have her dignity intact!"

David hoped reverse psychology would do the trick. Come on Amanda, take the bait!

"You see, I have it from good authority that Mr Woodward hasn't had, well, female company for years. Any sort of contact is liable to 'set him off' as it were."

Amanda leaned in to listen to Mr Brooks, relieved to be so reassured. Then it slowly dawned on her what he mean. The wry look on his face and tone in his voice; Mr Woodward's awkward walk and flustered expression. Amanda's own jaw dropped and she looked from Mr Brooks to the corner. "Oh my God!" she covered her mouth. "You mean?..." she blushed and trailed off. At that moment Mr Woodward returned and she quickly straightend herself. She found it hard to meet his eyes. "I... I am so sorry, sir..." she stammered a little but recovered herself, "I didn't mean... I mean I was very clumsy." She was not ready for his response...

"I- I think I can work out a deal beneficial for both of us. I accept to your terms if" he lowered his voice "if I can- can enjoy the company of your assistant in private!"

Amanda blinked at that and looked from Mr Woodward to Mr Brooks, unsure about what to say. Unsure about what she had gotten herself into. Her anxiousness was only added to by her employer's angry reaction. She could feel her tension growing. His chivalry was touching, but was she really going to be the cause of this deal's failure? It was all her fault, and the idea of being responsible for such a loss terrified her.

She coughed discretely, still unsure of what she was doing, but she had to do something. "Ahm... Sir? I am sure that a man of Mr Woodward's integrity would never intentionally disresepct me or suggest anything untoward..." she turned to Mr Woodward. "Please accept our apology.. Once again." she smiled and laughed. "I would be delighted to accept your invitation." She was the picture of calm, though her heart was racing.

YES!

Outwardly, David Brooks was the picture of incredulity as he slowly turned towards her, mouth agape.

"Are you sure about this, Amanda? This is an important deal and I'd hate to lose it, but you don't have to do this, sweetheart."

His tone was now brimming with an almost fatherly concern.

On the other side of the table Mr. Woodward smiled incredulously. She'd actually said yes!

Amanda nodded in reply. "Yes, sir. I would hate for such an important deal to fall through because of me." She turned to Mr Woodward with a smile, "After all it is only one evening."

She was quite sure that a dinner date with an older man was not too intimidating for her. However, somewhere in the back of her mind Amanda wonder just what it was she had agreed to. Woodward had meant dinner this evening, hadn't he?

David gave her a last doubting look.

"If you're sure about this I can't very well back out. It's settled then!"

Mister Woodward signed David's deal with slightly trembling hands. He couldn't stop looking at Amanda, not believing his luck.

David countersigned, and just like that a multi-million dollar deal was in the box. The rather unusual request of Mr Woodward wasn't mentioned on paper, of course.

David got up to leave. He cast a look at Mr Woodward and Amanda. He wasn't sure which one of them looked more nervous. Not that he really cared.

"You two crazy kids have a great time now. I'll talk to the maitre'd and tell him to bill me for this. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!"

After talking to the maitre'd and picking up his own order to go, David sent off a text to Amanda: Go easy on the old fellow. I'll be in my office working late. Drop by and see me if you need to talk. -David.

It was past midnight when the knock came on David Brooks' office door.

"Hi" Amanda said softly as she was called into the room. She was wearing the same black lace dress she had on in the restaurant. "You said you were working late and I saw your light on from the street." she said as she crossed the room to sit in the chair in front of Mr Brooks' desk. She leaned back into it and crossed her legs with a deep sigh. She was chewing the corner of her mouth as she always did when she was nervous.

"Well... I don't think that I have messed it all up... Not yet, at least." It didn't take much encouragement to get the story tumbling out of her.

"We finished the dinner after you left. It was... nice. I did quite a lot of research about him so I had plenty to talk about. Then we got onto the story of his divorce and he talked A LOT about that. Apparently everything was his wife's fault." she shot Mr Brooks a wry grin. It faded away quickly and she continued, "He ordered a bottle of champagne and we drank it all. Afterwards he asked if he could walk me to my.. umm.. the company apartment. We got lost." she laughed, "Well he was a little bit, ahm... tipsy and I've never been there before. To be honest I might have been tipsy too." she smiled.

"We found it eventually and well.. He kissed me." She said that last with raised eyebrows and a tone of astonishment. "I think he wanted to.. ahm.. to ahmm... Well, I KNOW he wanted to... come in."

She paused and looked into the distance as she remembered the moment just twenty minutes ago when a man older than her father had pressed his lips onto hers. She had even kissed him back, not knowing what else to do. She could still recall the taste of his tongue as he pushed it into her mouth. She could also recall the feeling of his hand squeezing her breast through her dress.

Yes Amanda, always leave them wanting more! David Brooks smiled inwards, repeating his thought from earlier.

Outwards he was the picture of concern. "He didn't... DO anything other than kiss you, did he? I couldn't have lived with myself if... but you said nothing more happened of course. Mr Woodward is a very lonesome man, but by and large a gentleman."

David Brooks was on his feet, eyes filled with concern for his young charge. He knealt down beside her chair and grasped her hand in a 'fatherly' way. He almost absentmindedly massaged her hand, secretly relishing her warmth and softness and smooth unblemished skin.

"You've really gone above and beyond the call of duty tonight, Amanda. It seems like he's taken a real shine to you, and the machines and maintenance of them is but a small part of what we have to offer. I hesitate to ask this of you but... are you up for another discussion between him and me? Lunch in a couple of days? You only have to say no and that'll be the end of it."

"He didn't... DO anything other than kiss you, did he? I couldn't have lived with myself if... but you said nothing more happened of course. Mr Woodward is a very lonesome man, but by and large a gentleman."

There was a slight pause to Amanda's reply. "Noo.. nothing really. We parted on good terms." she smiled, hiding the cringe she felt as she remembered the crestfallen look on his face as she had let him down. The smile became more genuine when Mr Brooks came to crouch beside her.

"... are you up for another discussion between him and me? Lunch in a couple of days? You only have to say no and that'll be the end of it."

She frowned as she thought about it. "I think I can manage that, if you think I could be a help. He may not want to see me again..."

Holding her hand still, he looked at her. He started stroking her lower arm as he looked into her eyes. "You're being a real trooper about this, Amanda, I hope you realise that. Now if there's anything, ANYTHING I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask. You've earned it."

Pampering and ego-building was the name of the game now. She needed to feel special as he was exploiting her. He needed to make her think she was pivotal to his plans.

"Anything I can get you? Anything you need?"

"Anything I can get you? Anything you need?"

Amanda smiled down at him. "Right now I would settle for a cool glass of water... but.. I think I would like to take you up on your offer of the company flat. I was only there for a few minutes, but it looked amazing, and it would make life easier."

He collected a glass of water for her, complete with ice cubes and a twist of lime.

"Here you go Amanda. I'd be delighted if you moved in, I rarely use it myself. I might crash in there from time to time when the hours grow late. But there's sleeping arrangements for several persons, so I would not intrude on you. Nothing untoward will happen, I can assure you."

He didn't mention that the other sleeping arrangements in question was the couch. Though admittedly large, it wasn't as soft and pleasant as a bed. He looked at his watch.

"Holy crap it's late! Guess you'd better call it a night, kiddo? Busy day tomorrow!"

"Holy crap it's late! Guess you'd better call it a night, kiddo? Busy day tomorrow!"

"Yes, sir. I'll see you in the morning."

Amanda returned to the flat and fell into a deep sleep. The next day she threw herself back into her work. She was fascinated by it all and growing in confidence everyday. She was particularly flattered at how much involvement she was given in the arrangements for the deal. It was the middle of the summer break from college, and it all seemed a long way from the hectic, high powered world she was moving in now.

There were two more meetings with Mr Woodward over the next three weeks. The first was a lunch meeting at the same restaurant as the first. This time Amada was in her work clothes. Although her trouser suit clung to her figure, it did not show her cleavage to quite the same affect as before. She was careful not to be as provocative as before, either, as she feared it could jeapordise the deal if ahe came across as a 'tease'. Nevertheless, she did not have to work hard to be the distraction Mr Brooks needed. Woodward seemed awkward around her after his blundering pass on her doorstep, and subtler things were enough to blunt his edge in negotiations; Amanda would delicately chew her pen, or brush her hair back, lean in close to check a detail on his papers so that he caught her scent, once she got up to visit the facilities to let him watch her trousers cling to her tight bottom as she walked away. Despite that, it all seemed innocent and businesslike.

The next meeting was just between her and Woodward. She had been uncertain when Mr Brooks dispatched her to Woodward's office, but we was as ebullient and persuasive as ever. "You can do it, kiddo." he has said. "You already have him eating out of your hand."

The was to discuss the timing of the delivery, which Woodward was insisting should be earlier than their company could deliver. Brooks had confided that Woodward's bluster would be blunted if it was her that met him. He was right. Throughout the meeting he didn't seem to know where to look (although she noticed more than a few glances at her legs, which she played on my sitting back in her chair and crossing them.) Each time he seemed to want to begin an aggressive statement, he would suck back his words with a sigh before he had begun. Amanda, for her part was calm and courteous in return. She did not give in to his arguments, and she had done thorough research to back up her own. In the end, she got him to agree that early delivery would compromise health and safety.

After they had shaken hands and she was about to leave the office, he stopped her. "Miss Reynold's, one moment." she turned back to him. "I have been very impressed with your talents throughout our dealings. I know that you are an intern with Brooks, but I am sure that someone of your abilities has a future with my company. If you are interested. Give me a call." he handed her his card.

Amanda left with a murmured courtesy and her mind buzzed on the taxi ride back to the office. She was flattered by the compliment, but it seemed like Woodward's interest in her wasn't scrictly professional. Besides, Mr Brooks had been very good to her.

Returning to her desk, she found an envelope sitting on her laptop. Opening it, she found return tickets for a flight to Tokyo and a note saying. 'See me in my office asap. DB.' The day got stranger... Amanda went straight to Mr Brooks' office and was buzzed straight through.

"Come on in Amanda. First I want to congratulate you on a job well done with Mr Woodward. You caved in his defences and had him agree to all our demands. Well done!"

As he spoke, David walked around his desk and hugged Amanda. He leaned back and looked her in the eyes, grasping her shoulders. "I think I'm nourishing a killer businesswoman here!" he said, only half joking. He handed her a statement from his bank, confirming a rather sizeable sum being transferred to her account. It contained a lot of zero's. He smiled when he saw her reaction to the sum. She'd probably not had that much money between her hands all her life put together. "Now don't spend it all at once" he jokingly admonished.

He let her head swim with the possibilities before continuing his seduction of her. "Now Amanda, are you ready for the big leagues?" Her head perked up from the bank statement. "You might have noticed a return ticket to Japan? I hope your passport is in order? Pack business attire as well as leisure wear. The hotel we're staying on has a world class swimming pool on its rooftop, by the way. You might want to pack some bikinis or swimsuits. We're meeting Gendo Yashimoto, head of Yashimoto Medical Electronics. We're there to broker a deal. I want to be Yashimoto's representative for all of the USA. The price he asks is steep. I want to talk him down and I need your help, Amanda."

He paused, watching her. "Mr Yashimoto quite frankly needs to be charmed, Amanda. I'm not the man for the job. I want you to do some research of japanese pop culture and choose an attire suited to charm a man like Yashimoto." David already knew about the japanese fascination with girls in school uniforms. He wanted her to find out about it herself, making her think it was her idea and her choice. And now to add some spice to the mix.

"We need to tread careful here. There are rumors linking Yashimoto to the Yakuza."

A big hug from Mr Brooks was enough to set Amanda reeling all on its own. It made her glow with appreciation for the confidence he seemed to have in her.

Amanda's eyes almost popped out of their sockets when she saw the bonus cheque and its row of zeros. She found it difficult to imagine having so much money all at once. "Sir.. I... I... don't know what to say.." she stammered. he pressed on, his energy and confidence sweeping her along with him.

... "Ahmmm yes sir I think my passport is still valid, but..."
... "The Rooftop?"
... "I.. I'll do what I can, sir..."

She listened to the rest of the instruction while she nodded her head and inwardly concentrated on looking composed and serious. She did not want to seem like a bunny in the headlights in front of him. She had to appear professional and in control.

"Yes, sir. I'll have everything ready for the flight."

"We need to tread careful here. There are rumors linking Yashimoto to the Yakuza."

That split Amanda's composure like a melon, even though it took her a moment to register and recall the meaning of the word 'Yakuza'. "You're joking? Aren't you?" she asked

"Amanda dear, you will find that many businessmen have illicit contacts. It is a sad fact of life, I'm afraid. But as long as we do what we can to please him we should be okay."

He gave her a reassuring hug. "Now, the flight leaves the day after tomorrow. I suggest you read up on Japan and make the necessary purchases. Talk to Miss Rawlins when you're ready, she'll help you with your purchases." Miss Rawlins had already been briefed, of course.

"Now, was there anything else you wanted to know?"
