The China Pearl Inn part 10

Got the first snow of the season during the night. It was a surprise. Got less than an inch but it is so cold that it didn't completely melt off. Temps are supposed to be in the teens tonight. I am glad that I am inside with the heater running.

it could be better but you always have to take what comes or how do they always say that...lol

Yaaaawn!! Good morning all, and a Happy New Year! Manic morning already, which is not a good sign for the first day back; desperate need of coffee and sanity :eek:
 
A desperate need of coffee and sanity I think is something we all can relate too Strange. I tease as I pour a mug of coffee.

Things have been rough over the holidays but I am muddling my way through. I have posted to our stories I hope they amuse you. ;)

It may be a bore but I do try to keep a schedule for going to bed and getting up. That said everything is up in the air. Coffee does help those. ;)

My problem is that I get up early for work and have the fullest intention of actually going to bed at a sane hour, but it never seems to quite work out that way :eek:.
 
A man on the go Strange and a little one to capture your attention. It seems to be a full life Strange. ;)

So what is on your menu for today?
 
A new day dawns and the Inn is eerly quiet as I make my way down from my loft. The coffee is on as normal and I pour myself a mug. With pen and paper in hand I settle in my old leather chair by the hearth to answer a post or two, glad for the warmth of the fire on the hearth.

Morning to anyone who may be about and to those that hide in the shadows. ;)
