I hope your ankle is better soon S F. Well it is a good thing you are up and away from Phoenix.

Things are quiet here a bit tense but quiet . ;)
 
The Inn is empty but the coffee is on the brew.

I was lucky and didn't go to Phoenix, but I was in the hospital and long term places here in the Prescott area.

I just realized that I have been writing here at Lit and the old China Pearl Inn for the last 19 years in one incarnation or another. My how time flies. ;)
 
Looks like I joined just before you, but I took a couple of years off when I didn't have access to a private computer.:)

Good afternoon SF, I do hope you're well and the ankle isn't playing you up too much. There appears to be a noticeable lack of Kitty around here at the moment; have you seen her around, by any chance?

Strange it is never to early for a touch of Irish. ;)
where you have rain we will enjoy some scatter showers and a bit of sun with chilly temps.

Yes it appears you joined about three months before me. Service has taken me away for a bit but all in all I have been here.

Speaking of time, I think I first came to the Pearl around part 6; I seem to recall a military couple getting married. I wonder what became of them?

Yes the couple were an English Nurse and an American marine. I have heard nothing from then sense the beginning of the COVID pandemic Strange.

I wonder about all those that have disappeared since we were struck by this virus. I hope that they are well as many were in the Medical or military or both.

It is snowing here. The problem with the ankle is that I can't put on my shoe, so I can't get to the mail or into town

I'm well enough, all things considered. Rather tired from silly workloads at the moment, but it'll pass soon enough. It's good just to slow down for a little while.
 
We all need to slow down a bit every now and then . You know what they say all work and no play makes jack or Jill a dull boy, or girl.

Now I fond that kitty is never a dull girl.........:devil:ish :DStrange.

Would you not agree?
 
I quite agree Strange. So you are worked to a frazzle, how are the rest doing?
 
Badly stressed most of the time to be honest CG, little fella has had real difficulty coping with the lockdown, but his school has decided that they can include him as a specific need and he starts back tomorrow. He's so excited to get back to some sort of normality.
 
I am happy he can Strange. It is hard for young ones to understand why. It has I think always been so. We are in a war with this Virus. A war where you can not see the silent enemy. A war that is so easy to let your guard down as the enemy continues its silent and deadly stocking.
