A neighbor has been getting it for me, but I would like to be able to get it myself. I am not good at relying on others unless I am paying the person. I haven't been able to catch the person to know which neighbor it is. I just find the mail on the back porch.

Snowed heavily last night, but melting now.

They predict 6-10 inches tonight on top of what we already hsvr. I haven't seen this much snow since I moved in here. I will be snowed in for a while. Good thing I have a ton of food.

But I am pleased that you seem to be ready to be snowed in. They are speaking a bout a chance of snow this week but then its the Pacific Northwest so it will be rain.

Good Morning CG, SF. We seem to have seen the last of snow for now, although we rarely get significant amounts here. Anything coming in from the east or west usually falls on the hills before it reaches us, we only get what sweeps in from the north. It was quite a novelty to be in Connecticut a few years back when a nor'easter came in and dropped 2 1/2 ft in 24 hours.

*I wake, still in the chair from last night, empty wine glass on the hearth. Kitty is sleeping, curled up on the rug in front of the fire. It's died down a little overnight, but it looks like CG has dropped another log on at some point, and the flames paint flickering patterns across her porcelain skin. I want to reach out and touch her to prove that she's real, trace my fingers over her curves to feel the warmth of her body, but I don't want to wake her either. Coffee time, I think.*

Strange I think she is still asleep. I must admit that the sight of Kitty curled up by the fier the light dancing over her pale skin is delightful. You know Strange as she lays there Kitty looks good enough to eat.
