This is one of my personal coffee mugs. I "retired" it several years ago for fear of it breaking. I bought it off of an individual online many years ago (I'm guessing 1999 - 2000, can't remember exactly). He hand painted them and was advertising them on an old-time radio forum I was a member. The forum is long-since closed and I lost track of the name of the guy I bought it off of, so it's practically irreplaceable.

I've had some mugs break over the years. If it's just the handle then it's usually an easy fix, but if the mug itself cracks that's pretty much the end of it. I had that happen to a mug I bought a few years ago. I used it for a couple of months and it suddenly cracked on me.

So a question I have for the posters in the thread is: do you have any special mugs you cherish over others? And do you still use them, or have you put them aside for safe keeping?

I’m not a coffee drinker, tea only, so I do not have a favorite. When @ljs returns from her hiatus, hopefully soon, she will be the one who has the mug. If you’ve gone through the thread you’ll notice she posts some really unique ones.
