Giving this a bump for the question in tow,

A man kills his wife. Many people watch him doing so. Yet no one will ever be able to accuse him of murder. Why?

Last bump for the night. Have a good one.

The riddle still stands.

Can anyone come up with the correct answer?

That would be nice, but I think if a man showed a woman too much kindness that the woman would probably kill him instead. LOL

Anyway, Sorry Dragonhearted not the correct answer. But, I'll give you a :rose: for trying.

He was some sort of official executioner.

Let's try this one!

Name five days of the week without saying - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

ok, I'll give you that since I didn't say you can't use saturday or sunday either.

I'll play

A woman shoots her husband.
Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes.
Finally, she hangs him.
But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together.

How can this be?

Fair Dragonette you called mine easy. Then mayhaps I should give you a one that may be up to your standards. By the way did you like the emerald if not tell your favorite gem and it will be yours.

Long and slinky like a trout, never sings till it's guts come out. What is it?

Is it a gun?

I must ask if you have a book of these. LOL You are correct it is a gun. Try thy hand at this one

I saw a strange creature,
a bright ship of the air beautifully adorned,
bearing away plunder between her horns,
fetching it home from a foray.
She was minded to build a bower in her stronghold,
and construct it with cunning if she could do so.
But then a mighty creature appeared over the mountain
whose face is familiar to all dwellers on earth;
he seized on his treasure and sent home the wanderer
much against her will; she went westward
harbouring hostility, hastening forth.
Dust lifted to heaven; dew fell on the earth,
night fled hence; and no man knew
thereafter, where that strange creature went.
What are these two creatures?

That's an easy one, the Sun and the Moon.

Why don't you try this one.

No twins could ever with us compare,

So like in shape and size;

Our bodies white like ermine fair,

As black as jet our eyes:

But tho' so like in every feature,

We rival brothers be;

Yet so obdurate is our nature,

We often disagree."

Not sure I can give a hint with out completely giving you the answer, other than they are not human.

OK, this riddle has gone on long enough.

No twins could ever with us compare,

So like in shape and size;

Our bodies white like ermine fair,

As black as jet our eyes:

But tho' so like in every feature,

We rival brothers be;

Yet so obdurate is our nature,

The answer is a Pair of Dice.
