Maxine

She stormed into her apartment, the door banging off of the wall. Her eyes narrowed as she gazed upon Slayer.
"Some help you were.. Make yourself scarce for awhile. I am not in a nice mood today."
She walked past her familiar and into her room. Yanking open the closet she pulled out a leather black jumpsuit. Stripping down, she pulled it on and zipped it up. Pulling on her thigh high black heeled boots, she fixed her hair and make up. Glancing around, she smiled smugly. She wasn't finished by a long shot with the morons in this town..

Grabbing her keys on her way back out, she jumped into her proche and revved the engine up. Shifting into gears she flipped the car in reverse completely around and sped out of the parking lot. She drove like a mad woman, but hell she was mad.

Laughing in a sickening tone of voice she drove to the nearest pawn shop and purchased a gun. Filling out all the paper work she walked out twenty minutes later with a gun and ammunition. Who said she needed magic?

Jumping back into her car, she shoved the gun under her seat and drove back to Max's house. She drove up the driveway and stopped just before she hit the garage. Opening the door she glanced around the neighborhood. "Ahhhh yes.. a young virginal male mowing his lawn.. Yummy" She pulled down her shades and checked out his sexy form in his cut off's pushing and pulling the aged mower around.

Shutting the car door, she walked over to the new guy. "Hey there, got a minute? I am a little lost on where to get some good lunch around here.." She called out above the sound of the mower engine. She caught his eye and licked her lips, standing just slightly bent at the waist, showing off her splended form.
He turned and cut the engine off. "Hi.." Its all he could manage to say to her at that moment, his cock had sprung to life looking at her tight leather get up. She was deffinately new in town, and looked hot to trot.

"Care to show me some place nice to eat?" She offered. "Oh and tell me your name, I dont like not knowing who i am talking to.." She smiled, but it did not reach her eyes. This one would be fun to play with until Max returned.
"Perhaps come inside and at least talk to me while I find something in my Brother's house to eat?"
He nodded and walked to Max's place with her. She led him inside and shut the door quietly. Locking the door, she led him into the kitchen.
"I just got here recently and havent really met anyone.. Being from the city it's kinda hard to meet new people when I am out of my element so to speak.." She used the same innocent lines every time and every time they fell for it.

Max

I sip my tea frowning slightly at her wards. I look up and say I now she can be dangers I just can’t bring my self to hurt her. I look away briefly then I say but I’ll do this much if you have to hurt her or even kill I say that with a twinge of pain in my voice. I pos for a second and continue I will not try to stop you or blame you for that mater just don’t ask me to help kill her. I’ll protect you and Luke but that’s all I think I can handle I have a feeling that if I kill her my self I would fallow her in to death. I shake my heed take another sip of tea to com my nerves.

Elizabeth

"No worries Max, I will not ask you to kill her. I wont kill her either. There has to be a solution to this problem, we just have to figure it out. I wish I knew how to stop her without her going over the deep end. She is a few marbles shy upstairs. i dont know what to do, but I wont tip toe around your sister. She just needs to calm down and find some happiness in this life instead of misery." She patted his hand smiling at him. "Thank god you arent like her. Perhaps she needs love to stop this?" She didnt know what would make Maxine cruel but, she knew there had to be something they could do.

Max

I smile as she ses that she wont kill Maxine. I say I don’t now what has cased her to be this way when we where younger she was nice not innocent by any means but she was kinder and genial for the most part. It seems that she's getting wears as time goes by and I rely don’t now what to do. I can keep her form the magic for awhile but she’ll eventually covins me to let her free. Seeing her in pain not physical but the mental pain of not being able to touch magic gets to me. I shake my heed I wish I had the old Maxine back.

Maxine

She was about to make lunch when Dancer came into the kitchen. The large pather scared the shit out of the neighbor guy and he jumped up onto the table.
Maxine busted out laughing as he cried out, "Help! Its.. its.. a huge! cat!" She laughed harder at his panic. "It's just a pet, get down from there! Dancer wont bite you.. ya ninny.." He slowly climbed down off of the table, wearily backing out of the kitchen. Dancer sat down on her haunches and licked her chops. Growling a little at the new comer.
Maxine laughed harder, tears coming to her eyes. But by the time she glanced up he was gone.
"Well thats a fine to do.. Thanks dancer.. you scared off my play thing." The feline looked at her with a smug look.
"Go play with some yarn or something.." She grabbed her keys and walked out of the house. The guy was no where in sight. She hopped into her porche and tore out of there, heading towards healing hands, where she knew Max was.

Somewhere along the drive she glanced down to fix her sterio station. Not paying attention to where she was going, she slowly wandered into the emergency lane. Finally glancing up, she screamed out "OH FUCK!" There was a parked truck on the shoulder. Trying to get out of its sitting path, she yanked the wheel hard to the left. The brakes locked up on her car and she spun wildly in circles, off the road and into a ravine. her head smacking into the steering wheel, she was knocked out cold.

Max

My head snaps up pain in my eyes wide as I feel Maxine hit her heed falling in to darkness. I stand saying over my shoulder as I rush out of the store Maxine is heart. I jump on to my Harley revving it up as I peal out of the parking lot. About a half mile down the road I see the car in the ditch. I squeal to a stop the bike leaving skid marks behind it. I rush down to the car seeing that the driver’s door is jammed shut I pole power in to my arms and I rip the door of by its hinges.

I retch in to the car and I poll power to me focusing it to my hands casing them to start glowing with green flames. I run my hands up and down her body finding some broken bones and a frachr in her skull. I grammas with effort as I begin to send strands of healing magic threw her body. I feel her bones begin to nit together.

I let the power go as the last of her wounds are healed. I then feel my self begin to sway with egsosgin. I focus what little power I have left sending a message to Elizabeth help I healed her but I’m about to faint with egsogin we’re not far from your store. With that I collapse on top of my sis as the blackness takes me under.

Serina

I was pulled from my peaceful slumber by Elizabeth's voice, my eyes opening to see her leave the room.

I sat up still feeling tired. "God I slept far to long, I've got to stop doing that." pushing my legs over the edge of the bed I stood and wandered over to Lizzie's closet. "Hmmm.... hopefully she won't mind that I borrow a dress." I picked a sun dress from her wardrobe and headed for her bathroom.

I turned on the shower to a hot steady flow. Moving in front of the mirror I removed what few pins remained in my hair, placing them on the counter. I stepped into the shower a groan passing my lips as the hot water pelted over my skin, it felt so wonderful.

Quickly washing and shutting off the water I climbed out and began to dry my body. Once dry I put the dress on, pinned my hair back and headed down to the kitchen. I grabbed a cup of coffee on my way to the basement, to find my shoes. Carefully I walked down the basement stairs trying not to spill the coffee all over myself and the steps.

A flood of images washed over me as I reached the bottom, images of all that had transpired the previous day. I closed my eyes and watched the scene unfold before me again. Quickly I shook my head sending the images scattering. "What am I doing i've got to get to work...." I retrieved my shoes, slipping them on I head back up the stairs and on out the front door.

Stepping out onto the front porch I closed the door behind me and took in a full breath of the fresh crisp morning air. "Today will be a beautiful day." I thougt aloud as I made my way to the back entrance to the store stopping on the back step to take a drink of my coffee. I let myself in and closed the door behind me making my way to the front of the store.

I glanced around as I passed through the doorway that led from the back. Lizzie sat at the little tables sipping her tea looking deep in thought and luke seemed content playing with his ball of yarn. "Hey Lizzie, good morning. I hope you don't mind....I borrowed a dress and nabbed some of your coffee from the house. Thanks for letting me sack out. I can't believe how long I slept, but I must admit it was the most peaceful, blissful slumber I have ever had.......Lizzie you ok?" I settled myself in the chair across from her and drank my coffee.

Elizabeth

She glanced up at Rina, and smiled a warm welcome.
"Hey sleepy head.." She paused at Rina's question. Was something wrong? Alot was wrong lately..
"Well some thing happened last night...... OWE! Fuck!" She dropped her tea cup on the edge of the table, it bounced and hit the floor shattering into a few pieces.
She gripped her head as Max's message came through to her,
"help I healed her but I’m about to faint with egsogin we’re not far from your store!"

She jumped up, looking at Rina, "Max needs help.. something has happened.. " She grabbed Rina's hand and pulled her out the back of the store with her and to her car.
"Hop in!" She revved the engine and off they drove, flying down the road about a half a mile.
Stopping the car, she pulled onto the shoulder of the old highway. Jumping out she looked down in the ravine. Maxine's car was smashed into a tree.
"We've got to get Max and Maxine out of that car and up here.. Come help me Rina.." They both tracked down the hillside, stopping beside the smashed porche.

Serina

In what seemed like a split second to me, the warm smile on her face was quickly replaced with a look of pure pain, the tea cup bouncing off the edge of the table to smash to the floor.

My heart began to race within my chest "What in the hell was going on?" I thought as I watched her jump up from the chair "Max needs help.. something has happened.. " I was about to say something when she grabbed my hand and pulled me out the back of the store.

With the urgency in her voice I didn't hesitate to get in the car, my body slamming back into the seat and the door slamming shut as she tore out to the highway. The amount of time we spent in the car was short and fast as she drove, when the car finally stopped I climbed out. Looking down at the chunk of twisted metal that used to be Maxine's car my stomach rolled with the thought of how badly they were hurt.

"Ok Lizzie....let's see if we can get them out." I started down the hill beside her taking a deep breath as we approached the car. I looked in on the two, my hand moving to check for a pulse. I sighed in relief finding they each had a good strong pulse...."Lizzie they each have a pulse and neither one of them looks that serious.....not even a scratch on them. But I am not sure if we should try and move them, but with the looks of this car I think we had better try. Anything could happen to this car."

I moved around the car to the passenger side and pulled on the handle, the door was jammed shut from the impact of the crash. Grasping the door handle firmly in my left hand and placing my right hand where the broken glass of the window protruded, I pulled with all my might yanking hard time and again. I was about to give up when the last pull opened the door sending me to the ground on my butt. This sight probably looked pretty funny to anyone passing by.

Picking myself up from the ground I brushed myself off and moved back to the car. I peered in and took in the sheer size of Max how in the hell were we going to get him out of there? I sighed this was already turning out to be a difficult day. Leaning inside of the car I mustered all the strength I could find in my small frame and pulled Max from Maxine, to rest in the seat beside her. I looked to Lizzie

"Good lord he is a big man.....I don't think we can get him out of here just the two of us." I had become winded slightly from tugging on the door and trying to move Max, I stood there for a moment just catching my breath.

Elizabeth

She grunted and tugged until the driver door fell off and onto her foot. She cursed a few colorful words and picked it up. Tossing it away from the car, she leaned it to look at Rina on the other side.
"We've got to wake Max up, he wasn't in the car accident only Maxine was. Apparently when he rushed out of the store he was heading here to her.. Some mental connection I guess. He healed her and is tired.. Just push on his, shake him something.. He'll wake up. He has to carry Maxine out of here, I would rather watch her sit here and rot." She glanced at the woman who was out cold. She didnt feel any love for her what so ever. And refused to feel anything about the accident. Not after what she had done to Luke.
"Come on Rina.. Shake him awake, ill try and pry Maxine out." She sighed heavily, not wanting to do it.

Everything became clear as she explained what had happened. I wondered how two people could be in an accident of this magnitude and not have a scratch on them.

I was taken aback by the pure hatred tone Lizzie's voice took on as she told me she would rather watch Maxine rot. I had never heard Lizzie talk like that before. I began to get the feeling something had gone on in my day of slumber, but right now was no time to chat about it.

"Ok.....I see if I can wake him." I sat myself down on what little bit of the seat was not taken by Max's body, placing my hands on his shoulders I firmly shook him "Max....wake up." I got no response from him so I shook harder "Max....Lizzie and I need you to wake up.....we need your help." still nothing.

It was then a devilish grin passed over my features, a thought crossing my mind. Shrugging I thought what the hell it couldn't hurt. I moved my hands to rest on his face pulling him to me I pressed my lips forcefully to his and then pulled back "Wake up sleeping beauty, it is time to rise from your peaceful slumber and see the world." I smiled waiting for a moment to see if that did the trick.

Max

The black fog valuing my mined parts slowly. I grown as I push my self strait I look around slowly not sheer of wear I am. I see Serina looking at me I blink slowly as I ask in a slurred voice was I dreaming or did some one kiss me. I try to stand up but half way to my feet I drop to my knees my heed haying. The only thing keeping me from falling on my face is my hand on the car. The weald seems to spin around me I close my eyes trying to stop the spinning.

I moved from my seat to kneel beside him, beneath the opposite arm of the one holding him up and aided him in staying upright.

"Woah Max slow down. No you weren't dreaming someone did kiss you. Honestly I had two choices smack you around till you woke or give you a firm kiss, which by the way always works in fairytales. So I picked the less painful of the two and low and behold your awake." I gave him a smile and a wink as I continued on.
"Sit here for a moment and clear the fuzz and then we will move Maxine. I need your help to do it, I don't know what happened but Lizzie doesn't seem to want to look at Maxine or touch her. When your feeling up to par, let me know. For now I will just sit here and help keep you steady and upright."

I thought silently to myself "Maxine had to have done something really awful to make Lizzie feel this way. This was more than just a spell cast over a doorway. What could she have done?" I sat there in silence those same questions running through my mind.

Elizabeth

She gripped Maxine's shoulders and pulled her first to her side and then finally out of the car. She could hear the ambulance coming screaming down the road and halting up above. She drug Maxine away from the torn metal wreckage of the vehicle and left her resting on a flat grassy area.

She glared down at the knocked out psycho bitch, wishing she didnt have to help. She walked back over to the car and peeked in, "Max, Rina... We need to get away from the car, come help me with Maxine.." She didn't say much else, but moved back to where Maxine lay on the ground.

I watched Max kneeling there with his eyes closed trying to get his bearings, the sound of the sirens approaching at a rapid pace. They came to a halt on the roadway above us, there voices shattering the silence as they hustled around grabbing things they needed.

"Alright Lizzie, we're coming." I said as I looked over my shoulder at her and watched as she moved back away from the car to where Maxine lay on the ground, still unconscious. Turning my attention back to Max I wrapped my arm around his back, taking a firm hold of him and brought my leg up for my foot to rest on the ground.

"Ok Max......we need to get out of here." putting the weight on that leg I pushed upwards helping him to his feet and away from the car. Once he was away from the car I let go of him and moved to Maxine and Elizabeth. I sighed heavily, the look upon Lizzie's face seemed to be of pure hatred and disgust for this woman who lay here on the ground before us.

"Come on Lizzie.......lets get this over with. Grab under that arm and i'll get this one, we'll pull her out of here." I grasped Maxine beneath the arm i was close to and waited for Lizzie to do the same. I had no worries of Maxine being hurt as we pulled her up the hill, the leather suit she wore would keep her from being scraped up.

Elizabeth

She bent down and put her elbow under Maxine's arm, pulling her semi upright and tugging her up the hill. She kept her silence, not wanting to say a word right now about how she felt about Maxine's cruelty.

She would have to explain later to Rina what happened, but for now silence was best. They made it to the top of the hill and the paramedics carried Maxine off in an ambulance.

Taking her in to check for injuries and make sure she didnt fall into a coma. Elizabeth didn't really care, as long as that creature was away from her.

"Well.. We should get back to work, and i am sure Max wants to go be with Maxine..." She walked to her car and got in, waiting to find out if Rina was coming with her or not.

Max

I fall back down on to my knees as Sarina lets me go to help with Maxine. I lean down on my hands and knees still trying to clear my heed. I look up and see the anbillens take of with my sister. I collapse to the ground agene saying mentally I still need help I collapse on to my face as my arms give out from under me. I barley keep the blackness from taking me under agene.

Elizabeth

She glanced around and noticed Max hadnt made it up the hill on his own. Getting out of her car, she walked back down the hill to Max's side. He was weak and needed some herbs for energy. She glanced around, looking for a familiar yellow flower. Spotting it, she ran over and plucked it from the ground. Taking it over to Max, she pulled off a few petals and put it into his mouth.
"Come on Max, suck on those a minute. It will help.." She put a total of four in his mouth and waited for him to revive a little.

Max

I grimes at the taste of the pedals that she put in my mouth. I suck on them swallowing the josses. I feel some of my energy com back but not much. I slowly force my self up on to my feet but as I get to my feet the world begins to spin agene. I fall back to my knees clutching at my heed. I squeeze my eyes shut trying to make the world stop spinning. I feel an intense throbbing begin behind my eyes growing whers with each passing second. I grown with pain trying to force the pain away but it keeps coming back wears the before.

Elizabeth

She leaned down and helped him to rise up to his feet.
"Lean on me a little max, I will help you up the hillside, But we cant carry you. You've got to try a little bit. Ok?"
She put her shoulder under his arm and slowly helped him up the hill to her car.
"Rina can bring your bike back to the store, she knows how to ride it.. Come with me." She helped him into her car and shut the passenger door.

When Lizzie and I had finally got Maxine up the hill and watched as she was carted off to the hospital, I noticed some on lookers blocking traffic. I headed toward them as Lizzie spoke of us getting back to work and moved to her car.

"Look Sir you are blocking traffic, there is nothing more to see here and we don't need your help. Now move along before you become the next accident here." I watched him move on, cursing me but none the less moving on. I smiled and moved on to the other on looker "Hey buddy thanks for stopping but everything is taken care of here and you happen to be blocking traffic please move on." He appologized and ventured on his way. I turned back toward Lizzie's car, seeing her help Max into the passenger side and closing the door. Poor Max, he was in pretty bad shape and all for that sister of his, he must see a side of her that no one else does.

Walking over to the side of the road where Maxine's car had gone off, I looked at the wreckage shaking my head. I wondered if she would have lived if Max hadn't have come to help her. Seeing Max's Harley a grin crept across my face, there was nothing more wonderful than the power, low rumble and the vibration of a Harley.

I hollered at Lizzie "Hey Lizzie....I will follow you on Max's bike, we wouldn't want to leave it here. Someone might take it." the smile upon my face radiated the sheer enjoyment I was about to bring on myself. I moved back to the bike and straddled the seat, pulling my dress to about mid thigh I sat down, tucking the excess material down between myself and the bike. I deffinately didn't want to show off what i had beneath the dress or should I say lack there of.

Leaning the bike back up straight I pushed the kickstand back to it's riding position. I turned the key and pressed the button, a long low moan escaping me as the mighty mechanical beast roared to life beneath me. I was in heavan and would have to ask Max to borrow this bike sometime and go for a ride.

I waited for Lizzie to get her car turned around and moved in behind them, following them to healing hands. I must have been quite a site a young lady in a dress and sandals riding a Harley. I giggled for a moment, and it quickly passed as the feelings of the massive vibration beneath me and the wind washing over my face, engulfed me.

Elizabeth

She pulled out and flipped a tight bitch on the highway. Heading back towards healing hands, she patted Max's hand, "dont worry once we get there I will get you something to liven you up in no time.." She drove with the wind, fast and concentrated fully on the road. She whipped into her driveway and up to her house, listening to the hog pull in behind her. Parking the car near the garage, she got out and went around to help max out of the car.
"Let's get you down in the basement where I keep my herb stocked up a little bit better than hands.. Rina! go down and check on Luke and the store for me. I'll be right there.."
She got Max down into the basement and went to work locating the right things she needed for a potion he could drink.

Max

I lean on Elizabeth as she helps me out of the car I look over at Serina as she poles up next to use. I smile weekly as I see the expression on her face as she gets off of my bike. I say in a weak voice I see you enjoyed riding my bike. I chuckle softly as Elizabeth helps me down to her basement. She helps me sit in a char I sye with relief as I sit.

I say in a quit voice I was barley able to save her if I had been even a few secedes slower she would have died. Even now I don’t now if she'll be the same I’m only able to heal the body if there was any brain damage I can’t fix that. I shake my heed saying this was bond to happen she’s all ways speeding. I close my eyes feeling the blackness beginning to close around me agene. I blink my eyes fitting it back.

Serina

I turned of the highway behind them, driving down the driveway and pulled the bike in behind Lizzie's car. Shutting it off and taking down the kickstand I rested the bike on it and climbed off.

The smile that graced my face was one of pure exhilaration and stretched from ear to ear. "More than you know Max more than you know. Alright Lizzie I'll go and check on things and work on cleaning some things." I watched the two of them move slowly to the house and then made my way to the back door of the store and went inside closing the door behind me.

I made my way to the front of the store finding things how we left them even Luke still batting around his ball of yarn. I crouched down beside him gently petting behind his ears "You seem extremly content with that ball of yarn.....having fun?" I chuckled softly did I really expect him to be able to answer me? I stood and headed for the back room to retrieve the broom and dustpan.

Once I had them both I went to work first sweeping the broken teacup into a pile and then worked my way around the store sweeping the rest of the floor being careful not to get Luke with the broom. Once the entire store had been done I swept the pile into the dustpan and emptied it into the trash bin. I replaced the broom and dustpan to ther proper place and went about dusting and straightening what little needed to be straightened.

Elizabeth

She sat Max down in a chair in the middle of her circle. She had a simple healing spell she could cast, but she was afraid she would screw it up or it wouldnt be enough. She had to rely on her herbal knowledge to give him energy now.

She began throwing things in the bowl, little meassurements, dash of this, pinch of that, a little pure water, a bunson burner to heat it. Stirring constantly. adding a little more this and that. Mainly ginsing and rosemary. Once it was heated to a luke warm state, she used a little net and strained off all the floating and sunken herbs. Placing them into the garbage bin, she then ladeled out some broth into a cup. Walking over to Max, she held it to his lips.
"Drink this, and I will get you some more. Finish the whole cup."
She helped him drink three glasses, and sat down infront of him waiting to see if it helped him.
