Luke

He rubbed his furry little body against his mistress's legs, mewing softly as he tried to comfort her. His mind lovingly caressing hers as he tried to figure out what the heck was going on.

Max

I drink the broth slowly so as not to upset my stomach any more. I set the bole down next to me once I finish. I sye softly as I feel my weakness slowly fade but the splitting headache is still pounding at the inside of my heed like a large drum. I put heed in my hands looking at Elizabeth threw my fingers. I say this is the trouble with healing like I do the more I have to heal the weaker I am and the wears the headache I get after wards. Maggie was at the limits of my healing talents. I chuckle softly saying by the look on your face you would rather that I was too late to save her. I shake my heed sadly you would under stand if she was the only family you had left in the world. Even if she’s my adopted sister she’s still the only family I got.

Elizabeth

She smiled softly at Max, "Yeah I know, I will try harder not to be so mean towards her. its just hard with what she did to Luke and all that." She reached down and stroked Luke's head as she thought about it.
"Your sister raped my familiar, and I dont think that was a right thing to do. So pardon me if I have horrible feelings towards her.." She fell silent a moment, "How do you feel Max?"

Max

I smile and say you have every right to hat her. There are times when I can’t stand the site of her and if she had been any one ells I would've killed her a long time ago but I can’t bring my self to kill her or to let her dye. I sit up feeling much stronger. I holed my head saying do you have any thing for a headache my head is killing me.

Elizabeth

She bent down and picked up Luke, "Yes in the upstairs bathroom there is some prescription strength motrin. Welcome to a couple And if you are tired, crash upstairs. Ive got to get back to work with Rina... Dont drive anywhere for awhile Max. If you need to go somewhere ask and Me or Rina will take you ok?"
She smiled at him, kissing his cheek. " And thank you for saving Luke.." She backed off and turned. Walking up the stairs and outside she made her way down to healing hands. Carrying Luke along with her, she thought about Maxine. Would she live through that? even if Max healed her would she make it?

Max

I watch as she goes up the stars and out of the house. I slowly stand walking with some effort to the stairs. I slowly walk up them putting most of my wait on the banister. Once I'm up stairs I fined the stairs to the second flour I sye and slowly move up them. I look around until I finned the bathroom. I open the medison cabinet looking at the boatels there until I finned the one I’m looking for. I opine the boatel letting two pills fall in to my hand. I toss them in to my mouth and I swallow them dry. I put the pills back then I finned my way to a bed room. I fall across a bed letting the pain push my in to unconcern’s.

Elizabeth

She walked into the back door of healing hands, and called out a hello to Rina. Sitting down at the desk, she put Luke on the floor, and glanced at her account books. She needed to get payroll done and the books balanced. So there she sat for a few hours going over numbers and adding them up.

Once she was done with this, she made a few calls to the electrician to come and install outside night motion lights. That done, she went to her shelves and went over all the jars and bottles she had, and what she needed to stock back up.

She made notes of who she had to call to let them know their items were done. But instead she walked out, handing that list to Rina.
"Would you calls these people and let them know their items are ready. Mrs. weathersby needed some ointment for her hands and joints, and Mr Kingsland needed some herbal teas for his migraines. The items are next to their names and they are on the lower shelf behind you." She smiled and thanked Rina and walked back in the backroom, cleaning up and dusting off things as she went. A few times she stepped over Luke and his ball of yarn while she worked.
It was finally a nice peaceful day.
She heard the door chime, a customer. Walking from the back she glanced at a new comer and smiled.
"Hi, how may I help you?"
She glanced around and at Rina then walked over to Elizabeth.
"Are you the owner here?"
"Yes ma'am I am..Can I get you something?"
"Well. There is this guy in town.. and well anyways I was told to come see you. You are Elizabeth Smith right?"
She nodded her head, "What is it you need Miss??"
"Cleo, I need a love potion or spell or something.. This guy got me pregnant, and then walked off. I think he should stay and take care of his obligations.. But he says he is too settled in his single ways to take up this whole mess... Anyways I thought If i made him love me utterly and completely he would take responcibility for what he did..."
She looked nervous to Elizabeth, but she smiled anyways st the nervous woman.
"Come.. Sit down and have some tea.. Perhaps I can help you out.. Rina would you like to join us?" She called over to her friend. Together these two could manage alot of things. Including an imature male.
"So you dont want revenge? You just want him to love you completely?"
She nodded her head, "Yes.."
"But.. I am not sure about this. I will see what I can do. Sometimes the one we love alot isnt the one for us.. Are you sure? It could backfire on you badly.."
"No I am sure.."
"Alright..."
She waited for Rina to join their table.

Max

I slowly open my eyes as I come out of the darkness. I sit up slowly looking around trying to rambler where I am. Then it hits me like a tune of breaks where I am and what happened to my Maxine. I stand up to fast and I fall back don on the bed as a wave dizziness hits me. I put my head in my hands until it lives I hen stand up more slowly. I walk down the stars seeing know sine of any one I walk out side. I support my self on the door jam as anther wave of dizziness hits me. I stand still until it passes I then walk over to my bike putting my lage over the seat. I look down and frown when I see the keys are gown. I swear under my breath and look down the hill to where healing hands is. I sye and begin to walk down to it stepping carefully so as not fall on my face.

I walk in the back door looking around for Serina sins she’s the one who drove it hear. I stand in the door to the front waiting for Elizabeth to finish with the lady so I can ask her where Serina put my keys. So I can go fined out how my Maxine is doing.

Luke

He played with his yarn for a while. Finally, he left it alone, padding out to see what his mistress was doing. Carefully, he went over to her, and rubbed his body against her legs, purring at her.

Elizabeth

She smiled at Cleo, turning and seeing Max stumble in. She turned back to her customer, "Cleo, I will reasearch it tonight, and tomorrow morning come back. I will have everything ready for you and the instructions." The woman stood and thanked Lizzie a few times, smiling brightly as she turned and walked out of healing hands.
Bending down she picked up Luke and sat him in her lap. Nuzzling her face with his, she smiled and caressed his mind.
"Being good love?" She pet his fur listening to his motor purr.

Serina

"Hello Lizzie." I called out. I went about my work dusting the last set of shelves. I hated to dust this one, it was stocked full of little bottles and took so much time.

Sometime later I finshed up and saw Lizzie emerge from the back with a piece of paper in hand, asking me to call Mrs. Weathersby and Mr. Kingsland and let them know there items had been prepared and that they could pick them up anytime. "Sure thing Lizzie, no problem." I took the paper from her outstretched hand and moved to the phone.

I picked up the reciever and dialed Mrs. Weathersby's number, it rang a couple of times...
"Hello"
"Hello Mrs. Weathersby...this is Serina at Healing Hands. I called to let you know that your ointment is ready and that you can pick it up anytime."
"Oh ...thank you dear, I will be there this afternoon."
"Okay ma'am, we will see you then. Have a nice day....Bye."

I pressed the button to hang up the phone and let it go listening for a dial tone I dialed Mr.Kingsland's number, it rang five or six times before it had been answered. It was not Mr. Kingsland who answered but his daughter, I introduced myself and told her that her fathers tea was ready to be picked up. The girl explained to me that her father was feeling really bad today and that she would pick it up if she could get out.

"Well ma'am give me a call if you can't get out to get it....and I will bring it by." She graciously thank me and hung up the phone. While I prepared a sales slip for Mr. Kingsland's tea a woman entered the store lookin around and moved to speak with Lizzie. I listened to the conversation between them, shaking my head. This woman had no idea how badly this whole thing could blow up in her face.

"I'll join you in a minute." I told Lizzie as I finished up the sales slip and knelt down, placing the tea into a paper bag and stapling the slip to it. I glanced up to see Max standing in the doorway to the back room, looking only a little bit better than he did earlier.

I stood and moved over to Max "I suppose you are looking for your keys and you think you are going to drive somwhere?" I was pretty sure he wanted to go check on Maxine and I understood why, but knew he was in no shape to drive anywhere. "I have to take this tea to a customer, care to join me? After that I could take you to check on Maxine."

Max

I smile weekly at Serina saying I spouse I have no chois I’m barley able to stand or walk I doubt I could farce you to give them to me. I chuckle softly saying led on my dear I’ll fallow as best I can. I close my eyes as another wave of dizziness hits me.

Elizabeth

She escorted Cleo outside, and warned her one last time.
"It could really backfire into a hateful obsession, becareful."
Cleo nodded, but Lizzie didn't really think she was hearing her clearly. Shrugging her shoulders, she walked back inside.
"Rina, I take it Max wants to go see his sister, feel free to use my car to take him. I'll have lunch with Luke and stay here and watch the store. I am not really up to going to see her right now.."
She sat down at the register and rubbed her temples.

Serina

I laughed a little "No Max you don't have any choice, you may be bigger than I....but at this moment the gentle breeze would blow you over." My smile dimmed as I watched his eyes fall closed, his stance wavering slightly. I moved to his side and wrapped my arm around him aiding him while he stood.

I looked over my shoulder to Lizzie as she spoke. "Yeah Lizzie he does and I need to drop off this tea for Mr. Kingsland. He is under the weather and his daughter wasn't sure she could get out to get it. Thank you, keys in it?" She gave me a nod as she massaged her head.

"Alrighty Max you ready? Let's get you to the car. I'll hurry back Lizzie."

It was slow moving as I helped Max out the back and to the car. I opened the passenger door and helped him in. Closing the door I began to walk around the back of the car, stopping short as I almost ran into the motorcycle. "Dammit you park the bike behind the car and left the keys inside.....wake up girl!" I scolded myself as I ran back in the store through the back and up to the front counter. I grabbed the keys "Forgot I parked the bike behind your car." I said to Lizzie as I ran back out.

Outside I walked to the bike and pulled my dress up slightly and climbed on, it roared to life beneath me. I backed it up a bit and then pulled it in beside Lizzie's car. I shook my head I couldn't believe how my day was going, to much sleep that had to be it.

Shutting it off, pulling the keys out I climbed off again and moved around the car to get in. I fired up the car and pulled out of the drive, heading toward the highway. Yielding at the highway I saw no one coming and pulled out, heading in the direction of Mr. Kingsland's place.

"If it's okay, we will drop this tea off first and then go to the hospital. I have a question.....has Maxcine always been the way she is, I mean has she always loved to pester people?"

Max

I let her support me as we walk out the back door and up to the car. I get in sying with relief as I sit getting my wait off of them. I look out the window watching Serina as she goes back down to the store to get the keys fore my bike. I smile as I watch her lift her skirt to sit on my bike I look at her beard lags as she moves it. I think she is a very good looking girl that’s for shear. I look over at her as she gets in car and poles out of the drive on the road.

I smile weekly saying I don’t mined at all I’m not in a huge heary I now she'll live whether her mined is the same is another question. She had a very bad fractcher in her skull. I sye saying and no she wasn’t always like these she used to be a sweet kind girl growing up. But she slowly grow wears more unstable one minute she would be a kind girl and the next she would be like she is now. Slowly the kindness part stopped showing up. I sye saying I wish I could heal the aliments of the mined as well as the body.

"For your sake Max I am sorry, what I know of you....you are a nice person but her she just.....I don't know. You must care for her alot to take so much from yourself to heal her and maybe her near death experience will change her outlook and the way she acts toward people." I glanced at him for a moment he seemed to have a look of sadness about him from the whole situation.

Driving on I soon reached Mr. Kingsland's place and pulled up in front. Before I got out of the car I placed my hand gently over his "Max you can only do what you can do and no more. We will just have to wait and see and hope for the best." With that I climbed out of the car and walked up to the house carrying the tea.

I knocked lightly, it took a few minutes but Mr. kingsland's daughter finally opened it, looking shocked. I explained that I had to go out anyway and thought I would drop by the tea. She retrieved the money and graciously thanked me. I returned to the car and climbed in and in no time we were on our way again.

as i walked into town looking for someone by the name of elizabeth i went to a local pub.walking up to the bar i asked if someone had heard of something called healing hands.at which he directed me to the house and as i headed out i walked twoard the house.

Elizabeth

She stood up from the stool, arranging spices as she moved along the rows of shelves. Luke played for awhile and then lounged on the counter top watching her. She smiled now and then as his femline eyes seemed to follow all her movements. She made mental notes of all the things she needed to stock up and clear out for newer things. She called a near by deli for lunch to be delivered asking them to bring tuna with them for her cat.
Sitting back down, she checked the clock. Rina wouldnt be back for awhile, what was she to do now?

Luke

Slowly, he hopped down from the counter. He quickly padded over to his mistress, rubbing himself up against her legs as he purred loudly. Getting up on his back legs, his head rubbed against her inner thighs.

"MIstress, I think I can control my changes now. Mistress, can we play?"

She smiled down at Luke, petting his head.
"Yeah, let's see you give it a try hun.. " She stood up and turned the sign over to say "out to lunch" and locked the doors. She walked back with Luke following to her office.
"Alright, give it a try hun.." She waited, her eyes fixed on him.

Max

I watch as Serina gets back in to the car I say I hope she Maxine is awake. I look back out at the rode as it passes. I hope she’s not in a coma I smile sadly saying all thaw I know Elizabeth wouldn’t mined seeing her in one. I sye saying I now Maxine probably deserves wears for what she has down in the past not to mention what she did to Elizabeth and luck.

I watch as the hospital comes in to view and we pole in to the parking lot Serina finds an empty spot parking use close to the main doors. I look over at her saying do you wont to com in with me or would you rather wait out her.

"I ll help you in Max and wait while you check on Maxcine. I can't leave you alone until I am sure you are okay." With that I got out of the car and moved around to the passenger side to open it. Helping him out of the car I thought about what he had just said. "You mean the curse on the door Max, that wasn't to harmful just mostly childish. No harm done."

I put my arm around him and helped up the sidewalk to the front door of the hospital. The journey had been slow but I noticed he was beginning to move easier and quicker. We made it through the front doors and to the receptionist's desk, the women there greeting us with a smile "May I help you?" I returned her smile with one of my own thinking "Probably not but we will give it a shot!" I composed myself to keep from laughing and cleared my throat "Uh...yes ma'am, we are here to see Maxcine um..Max I don't know her last name."

Max

I look at the nears and say her last name is Knight I’m her brother. She came in this morning a car accident. The nurse looks throw some papers then sees aa yes her she is she’s stabile but she hasn’t woken up yet. I nod frowning softly saying can we go up and check on her. The nurse looks at her watch and sees ya visiting hours aren’t over yet. I smile saying thank you. She nods saying third floor room 330. I nod and we walk over to the elevators I notes that I’m leaning on Serina less as the dizziness slowly fades from me. I stand up starter now but I lev on arm around her shoulders not rely thinking about what I’m doing. I look down at her as we wait fore the elevator. I say thank you for the help I rely appreciate it I smile warmly down at her as the elevator doors open.

Once at the thread floor we step out looking around until I spot another nears I say were is room 330. My sister is in there she smiles and points down the hall to are right I smile back as we tern and walk down the hall. I open the door to Maxine’s room and walk in seeing her sleeping body more peace full then I had ever seen it before.

"No thanks needed Max.....it is my pleasure. Besides I am in need of another ride on that bike of yours so a one up can't hurt right." I gave him a wink and laughed softly as entered the elevator.

On the third floor the elevator doors opened and we stepped out, Max asking another nurse where the room was. She kindly gave us directions and we made our way there. I had only seen Maxcine a couple of times, but never as peaceful as she was when we entered the room.

I moved around Max and pulled the rolling stool over to him "Here Max sit here and talk to her....even though she is not concious, they say it helps. Maybe it will bring her out of it." I placed my hand on his shoulder smiling warmly "She will be okay Max...I'll sit over here and wait till you are finished." with that I left him alone with her and sat in the chair by the door.
