I’ve heard it pronounced recently, actually. I watch the British Bake Off with my dad and there was an Italian person on it in one of the older seasons. He used it in something, which is how I knew it was Italian. But they never mentioned what it tasted like.

I got coy, let my egotistical ambition to try and cheer you up get in the way, of thinking straight, I sensed you were having a shitty day, felt gutted about it. It backfired.
