The Cozy Corner

Morning, y'all!

I take my coffee black, please.

I'm excited, both of my Halloween costumes are here and everything fits!

Anyone else dressing up this year?
I wish. I miss Halloween parties. I could go to the NYC parade but it is a million people and gets way too crazy (not in the good way).

This reminded me of a colleague who was amazed at a lady because she brought a dildo with her but had it in a paper bag with her breakfast, "could she not wait until she got off the plane!"
Called: getting off a mile high club.

I did and was not stopped, questioned or anything else, I glided through like an angel.
Well apparently the woman working the machine had never seen a feeldoe before. She had by the time she'd fished it out of my case.

As did everyone else in the area.

When I worked in South Africa I had to travel to Lagos Nigeria a number of times and all that was sort of okay but leaving was always a nightmare. Before I went the first time I was warned about it and told how to combat it. When leaving, standing in the queue to check in, there is a table just before the check in counter and your luggage goes on this table in an open airport which you then have to open so they can lift your clothes toiletries etc into the air for your male colleague and anyone else around to have a good look at whats in your case.

No xray?
I don't fly often, but I always find it a bit humiliating when it's time for security. Shoes off, belt off, hat off and so on. Wet foot prints on the floor and a lot of people standing in line holding their pants up by hand while they wait for their turn.

I believe they had x-ray but if you actually saw the airport you would probably understand that a. they didn't know how to use it, or b. it didn't work.
Well, traveling makes fun stories at least. Maybe not when it happens (sometimes it's better to laugh it off when it happens).
