I am very much a morning person and after 28 years in the Army it has become ingrained. Since I fully retired I can be much more leisurely and spend time with y'all. Of course coffee makes everything better! ️️️

I get up right away during the week, I’ll sleep in for about twenty minutes on the weekend. Feed the dog & take her out, then often go back to bed for a bit before taking her for a walk

I wake up at the same time most days.

I make coffee while hubby takes the dogs out. It's usually a quiet morning while we wake up, drink coffee, and feed the dogs. I like an hour of peace before I start my Real Day.

On here, I like to catch up, post my song, make a post on my thread, and see what's going on.

And, I'll go ahead and mention, @MidwestPrincess23 , I totally have tub envy.

What do your mornings look like?

My mornings are pretty hectic. I wake up at 4 AM. Do my bathroom thing brush my teeth you know once I’m dressed I feed the dogs then I’d take down their kennels. I tidy up around the house real quick if there’s leftover dishes, any extra laundry that needs to be done any extra thing that needs to be picked up around the house before I leave I take the dogs into the bedroom. Let them jump on that woman I take down the kennels and then I’m hitting the road there’s not a whole lot downtime. I’ve got an hour or less than my morning to get out the door so that way I can take on the 55 minute drive to work.

Buenos Dias! My mornings are more relaxed now that I don't work. And what indo varies depending on whether he's at home or not.

I usually get up and before my eyes are really open do some stretching and maybe a little workout.

Then it's coffee by the patio window and savoring the quiet stillness.

Then it's breakfast time! This morning was tacos de huevo and chorizo and I made way too many. He's going to take some to his crew to share.

Now it's my 2nd cup and I'm nice and cozy on my couch with you all and figuring out what the plan is today.

I typically start work early enough that all I can afford is up and running. I don’t even get coffee until my 45 minute commute to the office.

I typically start work early enough that all I can afford is up and running. I don’t even get coffee until my 45 minute commute to the office.

That’s how my days were when I went into the office. I still think back to my mornings of getting kids up early, juggling everything out of the house, dropping at daycare and driving to work.

I know a ton of people still do it, and kudos to them! I’m just glad I don’t have to anymore - so much work!!

Work days it's up at 0330 and out the door by 0400.... then the 2 hour commute - mostly mass transit
