Where I am at, in the month of October, the temperature averages around the mid 60’s(F) during the day and a nice chilly upper forties at night. There’s crisp leaves falling that crunch when you walk under them. The air is cool, crisp and fresh. The humidity of summer is gone. Oversized sweatshirts are the mandated attire and cider mills open on the weekends with fresh donuts and apple cider.

Football (American football) is in full swing on Sundays

There is nothing in language that can accurately describe the color of the trees. They’re beautiful.

It’s my absolute favorite - looking up at the night sky, thinking about the cosmos as a cool breeze hits your cheek and the campfire crackles.

Okay… smutty hockey (sports in general) books are some of my favorites! Might need to make this my next read

I remember reading those a long time ago. They do go off into a very different place, if memory serves. But I enjoyed the first few of them.

I’m right at 83% of a book I should finish tonight titled The Party by Lisa Hall. It’s a domestic or psychological thriller. But trigger warning the woman was drugged and assaulted. It’s how she works out what happened to her at a party.

Ok, ok! It’s called In Too Deep by Jayne Ann Krentz. It’s 3rd or 4th in the series, I think. It’s really not too smutty and pretty formulaic romance, but addictive! And I figure any reading is better than just scrolling social media endlessly.
